Great location, close to the lake and city center. The room it's Cosy but it comes without a view because it's on the ground floor right to the street and if you keep the window open everyone can look inside, therefore you do not have much privacy, unless you keep windows closed. Breakfast was typical Italian, coffee, orange juice, yogurt, milk, toast bread, bread, croissants, butter and muffins. No meat, egs, cheese etc

Room natural light it's not good because you have a small window and overall room light it's questionable beacuse has only ambiental lights Inside the room we didn't had any microwave to heat up something and to the kitchen we have been told that we are not allowed. We've been in December when it's cold outside and the room temperature was set by the landlord on 22 C and was only for the night time, during the day the heat was off therefore was cold, and we didn't had the option to turn it on by ourselves.

The place was nice and clean, and its central location was very convenient. The room was big enough for few days and the bathroom was nice, too.

We encountered some issues that detracted from the overall experience. The room was cold, and we couldn't adjust the temperature. While the hostess was kind enough to lend me her personal hairdryer and let us use the parking space for a little longer, the constant messages about: - house rules, - the 10 am checkout (which felt unusually early), - and the extra fees for parking and taxes made the stay feel less welcoming. The breakfast was okay – the bread and croissants were cold, and there were no savory options, only sweet flavors. A bit more effort to make guests feel at home would go a long way.

Very comfortable and spotless clean accommodations. Located just 2 minutes walk from Lake Como and bus/train station also just 10min walk from Como center, Very modern and spacious room, with little kitchenette, space to eat (as the breakfast is served to the room) and lovely functional bathroom. Easy access and perfect contact with the host Marianna. Possibility booking the parking space (extra paid). Breakfast served every morning was perfect, typical Italian with delicious coffee and fresh orange juice 🥰 I highly recommend to stay as you will feel like at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed the location and cleanliness of the property. It's in close proximity to the station, shops and restaurants. The breakfast provided was also very lovely with a choice of croissant, fresh orange juice, and cereal. As breakfast is from 8:45am, the host accommodated providing breakfast in the room from the night before, as the next day we wanted to head off early.

It was a cold and damp room, there was some mould growing in the corner of the room. Both my husband and I ended up catching a cold during our stay, and this was due to sleeping in cold bedding, despite adding extra blankets. We did let the host know as soon as we arrived, however we were informed the heating is on automatic setting and we are unable to switch it on ad-hoc. This was the only part that spoiled our trip slightly, other than that it's a lovely place to stay.

Civico29 is an exceptional place to stay in Como. It is very close to Como Nord station so arriving by train from Malpensa is very straightforward. Also the bus station is a three minute walk. The room is immaculate and kept so clean throughout your stay. Breakfast is more than adequate with lovely pastries, yoghurt, fruit juice and cakes. We slept very well, great soundproofing and comfortable air conditioning made for a really pleasant stay. Marianna was very helpful with advice about the area and we also chose two of the restaurants recommended which were fabulous. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wishes to stay in Como to explore the lake area, and amazing stay, thank you Marianna!

Nothing, everything was lovely

Our stay was simply wonderful! From the very first moment, we felt a great sense of care as Marianna provided detailed directions on how to easily reach the apartment. The room exceeded our expectations – everything was very clean and cozy, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was also excellent, with everything we needed. The breakfast was exceptional – freshly squeezed orange juice, a delicious croissant, and great coffee. Marianna brought a special warmth to our stay by Lake Como and set the bar for service very high. We definitely recommend staying here, and we will certainly return again!

The unit is very close to the train station and the lake. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We had specific instructions on how to get to the unit.

Communication is very intense and we were almost scared to do anything due to the number of rules and restrictions. Unfortunately it did not feel welcoming due to this. The walls are paper thin. We could hear every conversation, the snoring and the “private” business calls from the next door unit and we felt we needed to live very quietly due to this. The breakfast is ample but unfortunately a bit too late with wanting to get out and explore the beautiful area. We found it very awkward being delivered to our room. It’s a very lovely place and I’m sure the staff are lovely. Unfortunately due to our experience we wouldn’t stay there again.

Very nice and clean room! Large shower and bidet. Comfortable bed. Great Italian breakfast delivered right to your room! Marianna, the host, is very friendly and helpful- and gave us great restaurant and travel advice! Great location- 2 min walk to Amendola bus station, 4 min walk to Carrefour grocery store, 5 min walk to the lake, 10 min walk to the Lake Como ferry terminal, 20 minute walk to Como San Giovanni train station.

Upon arrival Marianna was very helpful and sent us everything we needed to know for check in via text, this made check in seamless. The location was fanatic, very close to the town, restaurants and the lake. The apartment was modern and spacious yet felt cosy. it’s fully equipped with a large TV and Netflix and we loved the double shower and spacious bathroom. the breakfast was delicious especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. We needed to stay an extra night due to our flights being cancelled so Marianna kindly found us accommodation which was very helpful.

The pillows were a little uncomfortable. everything else was superb.

Fantastic location, very safe, secure and quiet. Marianna was the most fantastic host, she went above and beyond to look after us. Even decorated the room after I proposed to my girlfriend, which she absolutely loved and we could not be more grateful. She even arranged for a very tasty birthday cake for me on our last morning there. Room was spacious, clean and had everything we could need. Beautifully presented down to the smallest details. Grazie mille!! We will definitely be coming back.
