Perfect location. The apartments are quite old and have a lot of character. Nevertheless they are also very comfortable. Security is good. Our hosts Stephano and Inma are a lovely couple who were always available with suggestions for restaurants cafes and outings. We kept in touch with What's App from the time we arrived at Milan airport. Stefano picked us up - 4 adults and bags -at the airport with no waiting. Highly recommend it if you want to live like a local and be right in the action at Lake Como.

So close to the waterfront it can be a little noisy at night if you leave a window open.

Room no3 was very spacious, felt like an apartment and not just a room, located on second floor with comfortable lift with a large window overlooking the building on the mountain side, thus was quiet and peaceful. A set of black tea and coffee pods for DeLonghi (Nespresso-like) coffee machine is provided in the room along with small bottles of still and sparkling water for free. A pleasant surprise was a bottle of Prosecco from the owner as welcome. Stefano also recommended few restaurants when asked and we followed the recommendations in two of our choices and the food was delicious with great ambient. Stefano make us feel very welcome and that was a fantastic addition to the lovely stay in this very convenient location.

Deep vacuum clean of walls, pictures, bathroom doors is needed however the bed sheets and towels were of very good cleanness.

Location of the hotel was excellent. Walking distance to the ferry port, Brunate Funicular, restaurants, taxi stand and grocery store. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very responsive.

The shower arrangement was weird. The overhead and hand held showers were in a tub which had no enclosure so had to be very careful to not splash water outside for fear of slipping on the tile. Our work around was to spread towels on the floor by the tub. Our strong recommendation is to put a shower curtain around the tub.

The room was charming and large. The bathroom had loads of space as well, and an excellent shower. Stefano was super-attentive, and had the fridge stocked with water, fanta and wine - all of which was hugely appreciated. The location couldn't have been better - a block away from the main streets of the old town, and only a few hundred meters from the funicular train to Brunate. We'd recommend to anyone looking to stay in Como City.

The temperature - we were in a heat wave but no-one can control that!!! :-)

This is a very quiet bedroom with en-suite bathroom, one of several in an apartment in a traditional building. So it´s important to be precise about arrival time, since the very friendly owner will have to come to give you the keys. The place is much better, bigger and nicer than in the pictures: Big bedroom with a sofa, big bathroom, original antique paintings and furniture, coffee maker and boiler with teas and coffee pods. You can tell they have put love and thought to give you a very pleasant experience. Very big bed with comfy and soft mattress. Como is small, the apartment was next to the lake with restaurants and bars a few steps away. Ask for restaurant recommendations and book at least a week in advance even in winter.

Amazing location- just in front of the walking promenade of the lake, old city - just a few steps away. Nice restaurants all around. The apartment was in a historical building with a touch of beauty of the past. Stefano - the owner- is very welcoming, caring, and polite. He nailed arriving with a cold prosecco as a welcome surprise :)

Challenging to park a car - but it's just the specific condition of a small but attractive city. As well as lack of soundproofing in the building - you can hear every conversation in a hallway.

This property exceeded our expectations. Stefano is a great host and took good care of us during our stay . He was very responsive to messages and calls . The bed was super comfortable and had a great sleep after many days of travel . The room was super spacious and clean. The hotel is located only a few steps to lake COMO , bus stop, Ferry and COMO Lago train station. Thanks Stefano for the wine , soft drink, and water in the mini bar as well as coffee and tea. We felt safe at this property. We shall return again to your beautiful property!

The owner takes great care of everything! The room is right next to the boat dock, very clean and tidy. The owner even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine! On top of that, it feels very safe; the room has secure entry and exit. We came here as two women and felt very comfortable. Highly recommend it! It’s close and convenient, and the owner is very attentive, always checking if we need anything. Stefano speaks English excellently and is such a friendly guy. You should definitely stop by and give it a try!

The location was great as it was close to everything. and the room very spacious and clean. Very good amenities provided, including, kettle, tea, coffee, water and a bottle of Prosecco. Stefano was excellent to communicate with from the outset, met us on arrival and was very helpful with any queries. We really appreciated that he allowed us to keep our luggage behind for a few hours after checkout.

Room is in a beautiful location, only a 5 minute walk from the ferry and Como Lago stations and right on the water. Room was large with plenty of space. Amenities were all great. The manager had perfect communication and was incredibly nice and very helpful with all the questions we had of the area.
