Our stay at L'Approdo di Sant'Agostino was truly unforgettable – it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, Stefano, the incredible owner of the property, made sure we had everything we needed. He helped us with parking, local tips, and fantastic restaurant recommendations – his hospitality was above and beyond. The property itself is beautiful, with stunning views and a central location that made exploring Como easy and enjoyable. The apartment was charming, comfortable, and had that authentic Italian feel that made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay in Como. Thank you, Stefano, for making our time so special – we’ll definitely be back and recommend L'Approdo di Sant'Agostino to anyone visiting this magical city!

Had such a great stay! Highly recommend! The room was spacious, bathroom- felt like in best hotel! Stefano- the host, such a nice man! Let us to leave our bags before the room was ready, explained everything and the bottle of wine in the fridge was a cherry on top 👌 it was suuuuch a italian vibe, couldn’t ask for more! The location- just in front of lake Como! Just in few hundred meters you can walk to funicolare which takes you to Brunate, to see the sunset- highly recommended 👌 Stefano explained everything and gave us very useful recommendations! The was nothing

It was 1 minute away from lake Como, 3 minutes from.station and a small super market and 5 mins away from boats departures - location cannot be better. You also have a few restaurants/bars right in the same next/mqin Street- 1 minute away. Stefano - the owner was super helpful with everything from extra towels to bags holding the last day. The bathroom was absolutely stunning and the mattress really comfortable. Honestly perfect stay!

I have no negative things to say...

The place is really nice, our room was amazing. We loved how we were treated since the beginning, Stefano is a great host, he was really nice to us, always asking if we needed anything and he is very responsive. The place was really clean and big. We really enjoyed staying there and definitely would recommend if you are going to Como, to pick this place. It is like 15 minutes away walking to downtown where you will find a lot of restaurants and stores. I can’t recommend enough this place, we loved it and specially Stefano’s attentions.

Excellent location overlooking the lake and marina, with lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Lovely classical Italian furnished room which was as big as you would ever need with an even bigger bathroom! Lovely touch of a complimentary bottle of local wine in the fridge, bottled water and Nespresso coffee machine. Stefano was very accommodating as we arrived after the usual check in time, entry over the phone was easy and he recommended some local places to visit for aperitivo.

Only downside was the noise early morning from all the delivery vans and refuse lorries. But a small price to pay for the location, I’d recommend a pair of ear plugs if noise bothers!

Very good place to stay at a convenient location near the city centre. Clean, spacious, comfortable - couldn’t find anything better for sure at this price for family holidays. Very nice decoration inside the room mainly with antiques furniture which we really liked. Public car park available at a reasonable price nearby. Stefano was an amazing host. Welcomed us with free soft drinks and Prosecco! We truly enjoyed our stay there. We would happily stay there again.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Absolutely amazing hosts that checked in on us every step of the way even as they were on their own holiday - Mr Jay was also great at welcoming us to the unit. The location could not be any more ideal - close to street parking, bars, restaurants, and sightseeing. Bed was very comfortable and softer than most in Italy. Bathroom was bigger than most bedrooms we’ve stayed in. Everything was very clean and tidy. Stefano even called a nearby location for reservations to confirm they were open on Christmas and helped confirm we followed parking procedures correctly on the street. Don’t keep researching, reserve this place for your Como stay.

Very minor suggestion to update the pillows. There was one firm and one soft which was nice but they could use a fresh set.

Perfect location! 1 block from Como Lago Nord train station, great news for “bag draggers”, the property is across the street from the lake, many great lakefront dining restaurants a block away, small convenience store just behind the building. Stefano is a great host, the room was well appointed both in furniture (felt like you were saying in a chateau) and mini bar/snacks/waters/coffee. The room was very clean , bathroom modern and spotless. The other reviews I read before renting were correct, this property is a gem!

Stefano was a great host! Really made us feel welcome and helped us to find local places to eat. The apartment was across from Como Lago station and the Ferry Terminal, so super convenient! The room had a charming look. The bathroom was spacious and really loved the large and deep free standing bath! Stefano was kind enough to let us leave our bags after check-out so we could explore Como before we headed home. We only managed to spent a day in Como so will definitely be back!

Nothjng. It was perfect for the weekend!

Very cozy. The bathroom is awesome with two huge windows and You could see the lake from there . Owner friendly and helpful. The location is very good , because it’s right next to the lake and when we returned from the lake trip the ferry stopped in front of the BB’s building . Also one of the train stations , Como Lago, is 1min walk from the property . Another one Como S. giovanni not so far away, maybe 20 min walking

Maybe a little bit cold in the bathroom , because it was december . But everything Ok in the room
