Very clean and beautiful location. Everything tip top and clean. Location was good, near the center of Como and the boulevard of the lake with lots of restaurants to choose from. Facilities were good and the breakfast excellent.

It is difficult to park the car as the area is busy. You need to have some luck to park near the accommodation.

Easily one of the best B&B we have ever stayed at. La Canarina is a wonderful place to stay in Como. Everything about our stay was perfect. The room was very comfortable and clean with everything we needed and great views over a lovely garden. Breakfast was delicious and ample, with a great selection of fresh pastries, meats and cheeses each day. But best about our stay was the welcome and service provided by Marco and Felicina. From letting us drop off our bags early to recommendations on places to visit and how to get there they could not have been more helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends and family.

The location is excellent, particularly if you are arriving at the Lago Nord train station or by bus as it is only a couple minutes walk from there. It is also only a couple minutes walk from a very nice part of the waterfront and numerous places to eat and drink. Marco was a great host. Knowledgable, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, including homemade croissants, fresh-squeezed juice and delicious coffee. The room was comfortable and quiet, facing an interior garden area rather than the busy street on the other side of the building.

Our stay was perfect from every perspective. Marco was an excellent host—kind, attentive, and always available. The apartment and room were beautiful, immaculate, and offered stunning views. The room overlooked the garden, while the breakfast area faced the lake. The location was ideal. You could see the lake right from the window, and it was just a short walk away. Nearby, within a few minutes' walking distance, were the funicular, train station (with convenient connections to Milan and the airport), ferry piers, several restaurants, and the city center. 10/10, we will definitely return when we visit Como next time.

We are so glad we stayed here… Marco was so helpful throughout - even before we arrived he gave us some great advice about booking the ferry in advance! The location is absolutely perfect, so close to the station and the ferry, it is a really short walk to the old town and the funicular too! The B&B is beautifully furnished, and absolutely immaculate. We had everything we needed in the room and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was lovely - particularly the croissants mentioned in so many reviews! They were delicious! Grazie Marco for our stay - it was wonderful!

You have your own front door key to access the property and your almost turning the accommodation into an apartment and very private- fantastic location and beautiful view overlooking the private garden at the rear of the property and looking up the hill to Brunate

Because of the photos on the site the assumption is the property is accessed via the garden and what appears to be lane in front of it - this is not the case -so it took a little longer to find the entrance which is quite discreet but helped by the charming residents of Como we found the property

Breakfast was not a "cooked breakfast" as one might often find in other establishments, but it was a wonderful - and sizable - full continental version that included fresh fruit, multiple hams and cheeses, as well as various breads and delicious jams. Very filling. Marco was a wonderful host, very helpful with suggestions of what to see and do. Very accommodating with timing of check-in/out, too. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. Parking was 12 euros a night, which might sound steep, but was the same price or cheaper than local alternatives, plus it was in a private, locked unit within an underground parking lot for which you are given your key. The location was fantastic: one block from the lake and a bunch of restaurants; also one block to a Carrefour Express mini-market. It was 2 blocks to the lake's ferry boat port and three blocks to the town center and many more restaurants and shops. You couldn't ask for better, and we will definitely be looking to stay there when we visit again. Thank-you, Marco!

Absolutely nothing.

What a wonderful stay. A special gem of Como! The care and attention was superb. We felt so welcome. The residence itself was of the highest standard, supremely clean, chicly yet homely styled. The beautiful shutter windows open out on to the mountain gardens which are delightful, especially as the sunrise comes up over the hill. The breakfast was delicious - fresh home made croissants that were to the highest standards. The residence is literally 1 min walk to the promenade. 2 mins to historical centre. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Car parking was spitting distance in a secure garage. Additional 12euros for this - BUT it was worth every penny! Felt safe and close by and a lot cheaper than anywhere else! All in all we felt really cared for! Deserves the 10!!

It was perfect!

Great location for walking to everything. Breakfast was wonderful continental and coffee was made for us. Room was comfortable with good bathroom and beds were very comfortable.

As we were there when it was very hot I would have liked a fridge but that was not a dealbreaker. We would stay here again and would reccomend to our family and friends.

The location is very good: 15 mins walk from main train station, 3 mins walk from another train station and buses, 10 mins walk to funicular, 10 mins walk to boats cruising Lake Como. Lots of restaurants and shops along the way. Carrefour is 3 mins walk. The communication with the host is perfect. Marco replies fast, speaks very good English so no risk of misunderstanding, helpful with tips on where to go and how to get the boat tickets. The room is big for Italy standard. Love the big bathroom with big shower cabin, bidet, high quality towels and toiletries. There is aircon. The bed is comfortable, also with high quality bedsheets. Every little thing has been thought of well. And the view from the room! It is overlooking a pretty garden and the mountains. The breakfast is so good, with homemade croissants and lots of fruits offered, well prepared and with different choices (bread, cheese, ham). Good value for money. I highly recommend and would return to La Canarina B&B.
