Location was truly great. View of the lake and the garden from the room, as promised. Lovely character of the property, interesting history, great and very peaceful garden/courtyard. Very appreciative of being able to add an extra night at relatively short notice.

The many staircases involved should give anyone with mobility problems pause - it is a historic property. The room was not as spacious as photographs and the price had led me to believe. I booked a funicular ticket in advance at check in and the funicular is currently out of action. Taxi price for a longer journey I had asked reception about turned out to be double the price. Overall extremely expensive for a good but not stellar experience - it may also be just Como prices. Location worked very very well for us though. Brace yourself for tropical prints;)

The room was lovely and super clean, comfy bed, with a tea/coffee station, lots of extras like GHD hair straighteners and curlers, soaps and shower gels in the bathroom which were great touches for travelling when you can't bring everything with you! Also we had the bathroom with the big tub and a small balcony with a small view of the lake which was really exciting to wake up to the next morning and see blue skies and Lake Como!

Just a small thing - word of caution, we had heavy suitcases with us and had to lug them down the stairs into the property and then up stairs to our room. The lady who checked us in very kindly helped us carry them up together. Again when we were checking out we had to lug the suitcases down the stairs from our room and then back up the steps to leave the property.

The location and the room itself were exceptional! They really went above and beyond for the amenities (I’m talking GHDs ladies & gents)!! They brought us clean towels every day and also made the room all pretty.

I did pay for a ‘lake view room’ and although it technically had this I would say it’s a bit of a stretch. The lake view was a tiny square of a view that you could see from the bathroom balcony, you really couldn’t see much of the lake at all which was disappointing.i have attached a picture of the ‘lake view’.

The Suites & Atelier Lake Como are outstanding. The rooms are beautifully decorated with lots of extras including hairdryer and hair straighteners. The breakfast was lovely and the location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the lake and all local attractions and amenities. We also had a gorgeous lake view and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Perfect place for our trip and time in Lake Como. Highly recommend.

HIGHLY recommend this hotel. A great location, the most charming hotel and they have thought of every need one might have-even including hair straighteners and curling irons. The patio for relaxing is so charming, I wish I could replicate it at home. It has all the charm one would hope to find in an Italian city. Staff was great, breakfast was equally as good. Parking was on the street and has a fee-so a short walk was required-but it’s a beautiful walk!!

Great location right above decent restaurants and very close to the center of Como. You can partially see the lake from the room. The patio was lovely. Te bathroom and bath top were top class. Great and helpful staff as well.

1) Private parking was not available. I had to pay for street parking. 2) No free water. I had to pay 2 Euros for the bottle of still water in the room.

The staff was not willing to arranging my very early taxi pickup on my departure day. I was told to call a particular phone number to request the taxi after being on hold for over 30 to 45 minutes I gave up. I walked to another hotel and I was told that they couldn’t do any better themselves that it should’ve been prearranged the day before, I ended up having to walk to the train station in a hurry and that was unacceptable

The hotel was very clean. The room was spacious and very well equipped with amenities too. Great having conditioner, hair dryer, straightening irons and curling tongs too. The staff were so kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was perfect with lots of choice, various drinks on offer and a plethora of delicious treats to choose from. The whole design and bright colours of the hotel were uplifting and gorgeous.

Location was perfect. The building was very interesting from an architectural point of view and exceptionally renovated. The attention to detail by the management was astonishing. Parking was a bit of a challenge, however we managed.

Nothing really in terms of accommodation. Better access to parking would have made the experience even more enjoyable.

The constant communication was fantastic. Easy check in, the design of the entire hotel including our room with a balcony was so special. European Breakfast had all you could think of. The marble all around was spectacular and the courtyard was unique and comfortable for a night cap. All of the people that work in this special place are so kind and thoughtful. There were too many items to list but they even thought of a hair dryer flat iron and curling iron and for foreign travelers that’s huge. Can’t say enough it was perfect!
