Excellent location. Very good restaurant. Lovely staff. Comfortable bed, lovely lake view. 5 minute walk to Comp Lago train station.

Room very small for what it cost. Unable to get any English TV channels or SKY. Needs a bit of TLC.

A delightful, traditional hotel, oozing “old elegance” overlooking the lake and abutting a garden square, right in the centre of Como. The towels and bed sheets are monogrammed with the hotel’s name, which used to be the norm but one rarely finds these days. The room we stayed in overlooked the square yet had a full view of the lake and hills behind. The extensive and varied breakfast is served in a large, dining room from which you can view the lake, a delightful addition to one’s stay. It also has a comfortable bar, again with lake and garden square view, as well as an excellent restaurant.

The location was perfect right on the Lakeside and near to the ferry ticket office. Bedroom was spacious with a view of the lake, breakfast was fantastic with a huge variety of food and drink. Staff were really helpful and pleasant. Lovely restaurant and bar area and a lobby to relax in. The adjoining restaurant served excellent food and the young waiters were very experienced despite their young age.

I’m sad to say the two restaurant managers did not appear to have the same customer focus as the rest of the staff which was a little disappointing

Situated on Pizzaza Cavour, exactly across from where you board boats for different Como destinations. Ten minutes walk to the cathedral and all quality shopping and restaurants. It is a very old property but has been through proper renovations throughout the years. It's just exceptionally close and in the heart of Como.

Breakfast is a poor offering .. But I'm not so accustomed to European breakfast offerings .. so it may have been par for the course.

The location is the best possible. Walking distance from the shops and restaurants and most importantly the great view of the lake. The breakfast was quite ok and with a perfect lake view. The restaurant at night is a good option as the view of the lake is great and the food quite good. Other options are nearby at walking distance. The reserved parking spot worked well.

Location is great with lake view, I travelled in June 2024, so there was construction going on in the city right opposite the hotel's front, which is hampering the view, but that's temporary, 10- 12 min walk from the main train station. Close to many restaurants, and shopping outlets. Rooms are decent size, but slightly outdated. But seems they have renovated the toilets recently. One day we took Box Breakfast with us to St. Moritz, which was very good, other day we had breakfast at the hotel. The spread was huge.

The toilet does not have even a single hook or rack to hang towels and other clothings!

Stunning view over looking the Lake from the veranda windows, massive bedroom with great amenities. The staff on reception were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a tasty variety of foods and filled me up.

The staff member on shift in the restaurant in the evening was rude to us after her saw we were a same sex couple. He was the only person who did this and so we left the restaurant.

The best thing about this property was the location. We took the train from bovisa train station to como lago. From there it was an easy 5 minute walk to hotel. Also, the ferry station is across the street from hotel (take the early fast ferry to and from bellagio). There are many restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance from hotel. The hotel upgraded us to a room with the lake and the plaza. Staff was very friendly.

Rooms are very small. We only stayed for one night so it was good, I’d get something bigger if we stayed here longer.

Excellent hospitality throughout. The location is perfect, our balcony opened to the city square and the lake, which is beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful and genuine. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, which were both excellent, and the cafe was well appointed where we enjoyed a cappuccino around lunch time. We stayed for one night after landing in Milan that morning, and it worked out perfectly. I would definitely stay here again for longer.
