This property is fantastically located in the heart of Como Old Town. Short stroll to ferry ticket booth, cafes and restaurants. The spacious and modern room with large bathroom (number 3 - junior suite) is located directly above the restaurant and the window overlooks the courtyard/street below for a authentic experience of Como life. Restaurant food delicious and we ate there for 3 meals on our 2 night stay, one night having the dinner delivered to the room. Surprisingly no excess noise from the bustle of the restaurant below. Available to us were free bottles of water, tea, coffee and snacks. was a very pleasant experience all round. Air conditioning a bonus and kept us cool in the very warm weather - we visited end of August 2024.

Location in the old town and proximity to the Como ferry, train station, and restaurants. Also liked that there was a mini-fridge, a safe, free water / candies, and air conditioning.

Great location close to everything, our room was lovely , big renovated bathroom huge shower, a little balcony , very clean, staff were lovely. Above a restaurant but no issues at all .

Whilst we loved our stay here the mattress in room 1 was horrendous, it needs to be replaced, hard lumpy and noisy, could not get a good nights sleep at all, a real shame as everything else was lovely.

Being located in the middle of Como was so handy when catching public transport. We did not find it difficult to locate. Our room was modern with a great bathroom and comfortable bed. Did not hear any noise from the restaurant or the town (stayed on a Sunday night). A croissant/packaged toast and jam and coffee was provided for breakfast.

Excellent central location and one of the best rooms we've had the pleasure of staying in. We are seasoned travellers but don't tend to spend a crazy amount on hotels but the value for money at The Rumi Rooms was incredible. The staff were all lovely and I loved the bustling sounds of the restaurant below us at night.

If you're a light sleeper you may not like the proximity to the centre but imo it only added to the experience!

It’s location is ideal. Close to cafes, shops and the lake. Walking distance to the train, but travellers need to know there are stairs to contend with on the approach to the station.

It appeared that the air conditioning was not activated until the room was made available to me. I turned it to 18 degrees to cool the room down and went out. The condensate from the AC drains into a small tub placed on a heating appliance on the wall. I did not notice this until it overflowed and wet my suitcase and some of the contents while I was out. No damage done fortunately. I emptied the collection tub and there were no problems thereafter.

The location was excellent and the property had so much character .

A few more toiletries would have been nice ie shampoo and more shower gel.

The host was incredible, super friendly. We arrived early and she let us store our bags. The room was not ready at that moment, but she showed us the space and explained everything we needed. The room was really nice, spacious and well cleaned. All the staff from the restaurant below/entrance was extremely friendly. The location is perfect, more central is impossible. Its a small place, with a few rooms, but I highly recommend it. Perfect for a short stay.

The location was excellent. Central Como, close to all the main attractions, the water and far too many great restaurants (including the one that is part of Rumi Rooms) to count. The place had a great vibe. It felt really good being there (e.g., within the lightbulbs in our room is the word "Love"). Staff is very friendly.

The bed was far too soft. The shower was VERY small: It was very difficult getting past the door entering/exiting the shower. It would have helped if there was a ledge in the shower to put shampoo, soap, etc.

Location of this family based accommodation can’t be beaten for direct access to Lake Como (2 min walk) and is situated amongst many and varied restaurants and cafes. The room was spacious, very comfortable bed and large modern bathroom. Very generous in provisions of coffee/tea/biccies,ect. Nothing was too much trouble, lovely people.

Stairs to negotiate but staff whisked my luggage upstairs before I could!
