Beautiful suite in a central location in Como, clean, stylish, perfect facilities, and great value for money. The friendly host Yaiza, met us at the property and showed us how to access, and then gave us some local knowledge on things to do and places to eat. Yaiza made us feel really welcome. We had a very enjoyable 3 days in Como, made better with the knowledge that we had the amazing suite waiting nearby when we needed it. We’d thoroughly recommend Alessia’s place to anyone visiting Como, and when we return we’ll definitely stay again!

The communication with our host before and during our stay went very well, and she was very responsive through Whatsapp. The location is 7-10min walk from the train station S. GIOVANNI, which was great. The location of Alessias Place is also in one of the most lively areas of Como. In my honest opinion it's the best area to stay at. Perfect for an aperitivo, dinner, or leisurely stroll at the lake without needing to travel far. You have food, drinks, entertainment and shopping at the doorsteps. Every time we came back from the other cities we were happy we chose this area. Once we arrived, we were welcomed by our host very nicely. She gave us great information on our stay, places to visit, and to eat and helped us arrange transfer back to the airport. Thanks to her tips, we had an amazing stay without worry. The room has all the facilities you might need. It has a good working air conditioning, blinds on the windows and a nespresso machine with coffee and tea. Bonus is the room came with a nice terrace.

The room was next to the entryway, and I could hear the neighbors open the door in the early morning. My boyfriend did not hear anything. So this might only be something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper. Other than that, there are no issues with noise at all.

Woah this apartment is so beautiful! It was the perfect fit for our honeymoon. Every inch of the decor felt intentional in creating a romantic, vintage feel. We made breakfast each morning, used the jacuzzi tub at night, and slept so well in the pillowy mattress under the sky light windows where we could see the stars. Also, the host was incredible. She let us know of some train strikes occurring that would have severely messed up our travel had we not known. She also gave us good recommendations for sight seeing and transportation, as we didn’t know where to start. And we can’t forget the location - moments from the lake and the quaintest part of town with all the shops and restaurants.

We were greeted on the street by the most wonderful young lady! She escorted us to our room and explained in detail how all the systems worked. Our stay would not have been as seamless without all the tips and suggestions she shared, from restaurants,tours, shopping, transportation etc. Como is enchanting as is Alesia’s Place and their amazing hostess.

That’s a difficult question, the only thing I can think of would be extra bed pillows, which I’m sure would have been provided had I asked.

Loved the whole style of this charming building & our room. Huge windows, lovely decor; the ceiling was ornate & so beautiful. Great bathroom, a mini fridge & some lovely extra touches like complimentary sweets. We didn’t use the fab little terrace as we were out exploring/eating for most of the time! The location was fantastic, so close to the centre of Como. A special mention & thanks goes to Yaiza who contacted us beforehand by WhatsApp & met us when we arrived. She was fabulous and informative and had great suggestions & tips to help us make the most of our time in Como. Highly recommend staying here!

Not much at all. Our particular room would benefit from some sort of privacy curtains as we had to close the shutters to avoid being seen from neighbouring rooms, which was a shame to have to shut out the daylight.

Yazia is amazing! Super friendly and helpful. She gives us plenty of top tips of how to see Como effectively. Very close to the train stations/ ferry for trips around the lake. Room was beautiful, spotlessly clean. Fantastic, central location. Despite being surrounded by bars and restaurants, the room is free from outside noise. Knowing I was going to a wedding Yazia arranged for an iron to be placed in my room. Very safe and secure feeling...approx 3 locked doors to get to room. Would definitely book here again. We loved this property in Como. Beautiful styling and period furniture. Thoughtful extra touches to make your experience even better. Like beautiful cups, tea and coffee with chocolate mints. Fold out lounge and separate living room. We were very comfortable. The host Federico was very warm, friendly and provided lots of tips on where to eat and information about the ferries.

The first night there was a noisy group in the property next to us and although the host cannot help this, the walls are very thin and in this instance we could hear everything. The following two nights all was very quiet.

The bed was extremely comfy! They left tea and coffee. The room was private and cozy. It was right in the middle of Como!!

Cars are not allowed in downtown Como, so you need to park in a parking garage. There is one located very close to the property so it was convenient. The doorways were very narrow, but we didn’t have too much of an issue.

we loved the place , it is just in the heart of the city , from the train station only 5-6 mins walk then you are at your hotel which is in the city center, also the place was very clean , the lady that welcomed us in a very helpful & friendly way , gave us all the advicess about places where to eat , what to see , where the bus etc.. we were very happy but we should have stayed 1 day more to discover more , next time I will stay in the same place for sure :)

the room could be a little bigger , maybe there were options but the one we stayed was not that big.

Alessia's Place was a great place to stay in Como. Less than a 10 minute walk from San Giovanni train station and so close to waterfront and all the restaurants and places of interest. Accommodation was spotless and very comfortable and inviting. Consisted of a loungeroom with TV and free access to Netflix etc. Tea and coffee making facilities and fridge.Beautiful bedroom with comfortable bed and lovely clean bathroom. Free wifi. Highly recommend.

Shower head needs replacing as sprays water sideways wetting everything.
