Excellent location. Big apartment-style room. Clean and A/C in both rooms and it worked well! My room had two balconies and two windows and an unexpected partial view of Lake Como (Room 1 5th floor). I just happened to arrive several hours before check-in and went by to ask if I could drop my luggage while I walked around town. They informed me that my room was ready and I go in an make myself comfortable. So I was able to go in, shower, nap unpack and hit the area way earlier and more refreshed that I thought I could. It really helped my stay because I had had a long trip. They are also very accommodating with your breakfast. Extremely kind, warm and very hospitable owners and staff.

Everything was fine. It is an older hotel but the price more than makes up for it and it was clean. So absolutely no complaints.

Everything was fine. This was a last-minute booking and the staff there were immediately accommodating and found my booking without any extra input from me. It was a little late in the day, but they very kindly indicated where to go and eat. The room and adjoining bathroom were spacious and very clean and had all the facilities that you find in much more expensive venues. It was easy to find on the GPS and was situated within easy walking distance to the Lake and lakeside restaurants in Como. The breakfast was generous with fresh bread and pastries, and catered to all tastes.

The hotel is next to a noisy boulevard and motorcycles are a bit of nuisance. We asked for a room facing the back of the building but could still hear them occasionally during the night, even with windows closed. Room was spacious and well appointed for a 3* hotel. It was cleaned regularly and very well. Hotel is situated between the 2 main train stations and about 15 mins walk from the shuttle boat pier. There is a bus stop just outside as well for services towards Mennagio.

Breakfast was average - choice of pastries, bread rolls, salami and cheese. Juice was not fresh and coffee not the best.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Engadina. The location is perfect—just a short walk from both the lake and the Como San Giovanni train station. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed, including reliable Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but fresh and satisfying, with good coffee to start the day. For the price, this hotel offers fantastic value in Como. I would definitely stay here again ❤️

Spotless clean, in the room and all the premises. In few hotels I dare to walk bare foot, this is one of them. You could see they pay attention to details and maintenance. Very good and tasty breakfast. Nice, kind and helpful staff. Great location to explore Como, the city and the lake, good connection to all means of transport (10 min walking distance from S. Giovanni train station, bus station in front). The street in front of the hotel is quite busy but the rooms are well.sound proof.

The hotel exceeded my expectation. The location is good and safe , I walked to main places of interest and train station. Bus stops are very close and convenient if you prefer public transport. Staff is very helpful and professional, answered all my questions. My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was really good, I slept well. The bathroom was beautiful and well equipped. Breakfast was opulent with good choices, i liked coffee and fruit.

Well-located hotel not far from the train station and the promenade. good value for money in Como. Friendly personnel and kudos for letting us check-in a bit earlier.

From my perspective, breakfasts could be more diverse with more meat options. Nice to have a kettle in the ensuite (a teapot was provided from the bar while having it in the room is much more convenient)

The location is great. Close proximity to everything l. The staff are excellent. Breakfast was pretty good both in terms of quality and size. Very clean too. The apartment we stayed in was in the building next door to the hotel, connecting via a fire door to the lobby.

This is an 80s hotel, and the furniture, blankets/duvets were from that time. It can be noisy at times since the 2 apartments had a common door before the actual door to each apartment.

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were kind. The room was very well ventilated naturally, even though the outside temperature reached 33 degrees Celsius. Air conditioning is also available.

I could always want something, but right now I don't have anything particularly urgent in mind.

I liked that a simple breakfast was included. It was a simple room/hotel but was close to everything (five minute walk to the lake etc). Would happily go again if travelling alone, though maybe would need more space with someone else

The hotel front and reception wasn’t massively appealing, and got me worried (though once i started talking to them and got to my room, I was happy given the cost/convenience and the nice staff)
