My husband and I wanted to ship our car from Florida to Bar Harbor and drive it back down the east coast for a month long road trip. Shipping a car is not easy to orchestrate precisely as drivers typically have a day or two of flexibility on the delivery date. Given our itinerary, we had to ask the Seasider if they could receive our car a day or so before our arrival date. Brandon was absolutely responsive, supportive and helpful. He received our car and let us know it was there. The next evening when we arrived he came right over to give us our keys. It was such a positive experience and a great relief. The hotel itself is conveniently located, the rooms are comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay in Bar Harbor very much and highly recommend this hotel. Thanks again, Brandon!

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic and incredibly family-friendly from beginning to end. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable—perfect for traveling with kids. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, always greeting us with a smile and offering helpful suggestions for nearby family activities. We especially appreciated the little touches that made a big difference, like a kid-friendly breakfast selection, safe and quiet hallways, and convenient amenities for parents. The location was great for accessing local attractions, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming for families of all sizes. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay with our family and would gladly return on our next trip.

My daughter and I stayed at Seasider Motel and had the most wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful, clean, and welcoming. The location is perfect—tucked just outside the hustle of downtown Bar Harbor, yet close enough to everything we wanted to see and do. Our room was spotless and cozy, with thoughtful touches that made it feel more like a home than a hotel. The grounds are quiet and well-kept, and we loved how easy it was to get to Acadia National Park from the motel. But what really stood out was the kindness of the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely cared that we had a great stay. Traveling with my daughter made this trip extra special, and Seasider gave us the perfect place to rest and make memories. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Bar Harbor. We’ll definitely be back!

The breakfast was a quick danish/cereal type of breakfast with hot coffee/tea and fruit. Nothing to eat that was hot. There were plenty of fruit bars that could be taken on hikes which was just as good as breakfast. This was a plus especially since we did not bring any trail mixes. The bars were a healthy brand not full of chemicals.The room was very clean and you can tell it was sanitized.

We were on the first floor near the lobby and we had a nice amount of spiders in our room. There wasn't really anything else negative about the motel. It did make for a nice first time experience in Bar Harbor.

The motel's location is exceptionally convenient, offering easy access to both Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, with Main Street just a short walk away. The staff was welcoming, polite, and always ready to assist. Furthermore, the all-day hospitality station, providing coffee, snack bars, fresh fruit, and cold beverages, was a delightful addition.

Considering the price, it is important to remember that this is a motel. The room was basic, yet clean. Although the air conditioning was quite noisy, opening the window allowed for a peaceful night's sleep.

Rooms are a good size, clean and well kept. The location is a longer walk from the main downtown area (about 15-20 minutes depending on how fast you walk) than I'd thought, but for the price you can't get much closer. Staff was friendly and helpful, and it was convenient to have the grab and go breakfast option.

This wasn't a super negative, but the bathrooms are a little dated and our door was difficult to close. Also note that the sink, toilet and shower/bathtub are all in one room, like a standard home bathroom, so if you prefer the arrangement where the sink is separate, keep that in mind. I had also assumed from photos on the website that all of the second floor rooms had balconies, but they don't. There is a section in the middle without them, and our room in particular had a partially blocked view because it overlooked the roof of the lobby. It was raining most of our visit, so we didn't miss the balcony that much, but if you definitely want a balcony room, ask for it when you make your reservation.

It was a nice, quiet, clean and comfy motel. I would have enjoyed a pool but that's a personal choice. The motel itself is very well staffed. We were waited on by Jerome at the front desk who extremely helpful and very pleasant. It is in a good location relative to the downtown seaside area (it's just a quick walk). They had good breakfast options and snacks, water and soda available all day in the front desk area. Overall worth the cost and I would definitely stay there again.

Even though we only stayed one night, I have to say this place was much better than the last motel we stayed at. The room was clean and smelled great, and it was nice and quiet all night. It’s also very close to downtown — we walked there in about 15 minutes. We were greeted by Bella (I think that was the dog’s name!), which was such a sweet touch. When I booked the room, I didn’t realize it wasn’t pet-friendly, but the staff was super accommodating — they rearranged things so we could still bring our small dog. Highly recommend this place! Great experience all around.

Our room was clean. We were sceptical about the cleanliness given the reviews of the motel. The breakfast was good as well. The staff kept the items coming out on the table. The spread was limited but everything was good. This motel was one of the rare places where bottled water is free. Plenty of parking was available. The staff is attentive and eager to make your stay comfortable. In the end, I would say compared to other properties in the area, seasider is a good value for money.

The location of the motel is towards the end of the town. The AC in our room was oddly in the bathroom. The curtains did not keep the lights out and it was bright inside the room at night. The room can definitely benefit from some furnishings.

This is a motel type facility (typical for the area) but the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Our room was a decent size with a spacious bathroom. The location was excellent! It is a two minute drive to Acadia and a few minute walk into the heart of Bar Harbor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a snack type breakfast (granola bars, muffins and fruit) and a water filter to fill your water bottles.
