Very full breakfast buffet, the best large and tasty perfectly soft boiled eggs I have ever seen at a hotel breakfast! Other cooked items as well of course. Really hot (boiling) water available for making tea - a rarity in Germany :) Full selction of quality (not lipton) tea bags available. Nice selection of bread and rolls. Very nice room, parking in the Hof (courtyard). Very helpful staff. Good wine selection in the restaurant, very nice Schnitzels (both Schwein and Kalb on offer). In the middle of town...

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We loved sitting outside on the terrace by the water fountain. It was so peaceful. So pretty with all the flowers. Our room overlooked the terrace and we could sit outside on the balcony overlooking everything and we had the perfect view of the Glockenspiel. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Food was very good! I loved the location. Beautiful historic hotel! It was close to all the attractions and it was a short walk to the train station. We loved our stay.

Pillows were a bit flat so my husband had trouble with a sore neck. Some new pillows would be nice. It was hot outside and the room was warm but when you open the windows at night it was ok.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, with 2 toddlers our hands were full. They had our table ready with 2 high chairs for breakfast. The food was lovely. They interacted with the children. They were able to tell us times for the boats and what cruise is best. The location is brilliant. The room is large enough for a family ( large double bed, a pull out bed and a cot)

Just a minor thing but the shower wet all the bathroom floor as the screen wasn’t working. Once we knew and dried it up, we kept the towel along the side of the bath and it didn’t happen again. I let them know when we were checking out.

Room as dated with odd smell

If you are visiting Germany to experience culture, appreciate architecture, and learn history this hotel is the best. It is a family built and operated boutique hotel. I have traveled all over the world and this gem is now my favorite. Two restaurants, a Biergarten, and a wiengarten make leaving difficult because there is so much to experience if you take the time. Talk the owners about the history of the building and the city, it is quite the story. Experience the wine from the region with experts and you might even meet a world renowned Riesling maker, we did!

It’s a dream. There is nothing no to love.

OMG, What a find!!! I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Not why this hotel is not rated higher. It's located right in the middle of everything and the people are so friendly. I just loved the old-style architecture along with the vineyard feel of the hoff. Breakfast was awesome. The rooms have that old-style flair while being sufficiently updated on the inside, with plenty of comfort. I would definitely stay here again and also recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Rudesheim. There is also an awesome restaurant just across the street on the front side of the hotel, with authentic German cuisine.

Pretty hotel, with large comfortable rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are large & showers are very good. The service was very good. There was a large buffet breakfast which we chose to eat on the terrace. We loved the ambiance of the hotel. Absolutely stunning views down the Drosselgasse from the hotel. Brilliant location. Great place to experience the wine culture of the Rhine. Good value hotel.

It was very hot when we were there & the rooms don't have air conditioning. They did however have fans. Keep in mind that the location means that the rooms are located right above the areas where people are drinking & bands play until about 11. Not a problem though if you want to get in the midst of the fun!

Hotel LIndenwirt is a charming German hotel in the middle of Rudesheim. The rooms are older but clean and maintained well. The breakfast is very good and excellent value included for the stay. If you are driving in, be sure to request parking. Having a parking spot clearly reserved for you in the middle of Rudesheim is a HUGE perk. Just have to be careful driving into the hotel respecting the correct steer (one-way) to and then out of the hotel. Tourists are usually in the road thinking it is a pedestrian-only street.

Nothing that I didn't like about the hotel. We love the charm of the hotel and it's location. This is our second time staying there, so we knew what to expect. If you are looking for a new and modern hotel, this isn't the place for you.

Breakfast was good well stocked,

We were told there would be on site parking , there wasnt and it cost me €129.00 parking fees for myself and family. I registered that I was bringing a family pet with us, when we arrived there were questions asked as to why we had a pet with us.

The location was central for a day in Rudesheim. The room was so spacious. The bathroom was very comfortable and clean.

There was no airco in the room so we need to sleep with windows open. Since we were there on a friday evening, we were hearing the live music from all the bars around.
