Clean and beautiful room. I had a restful sleep and felt safe.

When I got to the hotel there was no one at the reception. I said hello anybody home. A lady came out and said can you read? She used a high tone and said you didn't read the sign you needed to call the number at the front door. Then I couldn't find my credit card and offered another card. She said you need to provide the same card as in the reservation that was already charged. I was lucky to find the original credit card and able to get into the inn. It is a beautiful and clean place.too.bad people treat customers like that. Next day when I checked out the lady at the desk was really courteous and I told her what happened.

Had to present the card I made the reservation with, I did not bring that card, had to call home to get a copy of it???? we reserved the room for three people and the goodie bag had only two of everything. "garden view" was little deceptive, the "garden was not much, a small patch in the round about drive way, so it was across the drive way, not like right our your window.

This Inn was well located for our travel and they gave us an upgrade when their was a small issue with the room we reserved having a leak. Overall a wonderful experience and we definitely would go back.

The only issue we found was the stairs. I had originally booked a 2nd floor room because their are no elevators and I have poor knees. The room we booked had an issue and they gave us a better room but it was on the 3rd floor with no elevators. The room was fabulous but my knees were not happy at the end of our trip

Good location near Columbia, MD. Beautiful area. Repurposed home, a very unique property. Room was very large with a substantial bathroom and huge closet. Access from bedroom to spacious terrace with great view of the farm across the street. Even with proximity to the road, the room was very quiet. Staff was wonderful, Cheryl was kind and gracious. This is the kind of place that we love to stay in during our travels.

There was a lack of hotel amenities that knew going in. Was not a problem at all.

I liked the convenience of the location to the venue we were attending. It was just a 10 min drive away. The hostess was very nice and upon arrival gave us a bag full of breakfast items and snacks for our stay. The room was supplied with coffee k-cups,cream,sugar and all essentials.

I thought the suite could have had more comfortable chairs to sit up and watch TV rather than lay on bed. It did have a desk chair and wing chair but would have been much more accommodating with something more relaxing.

The price point for the one night stay was great. Ample parking. Conveniently located within 10 minutes of a friendship reunion at Kahler Hall the day of. The bed was five star, like I was sleeping on a cloud. Ample storage places in the room. Thirsty towels and wash cloths. USB ports on both side of the bed. Strong water pressure in the shower, bathroom sink. Kitchenette, fridge and microwave were good added conveniences but basic in budget friendly room subterranean room B2 . The to go continental breakfast grab bag was a surprise since it was not advertised in the final price. Outside noise pollution was minimal.

The electrical fireplace did not kick out enough heat but it was still comfortable enough to sleep with pajamas.

The balcony, no extra fees, the atmosphere, actually finding a bed that me and my mom agreed on because it was perfect. The calming energy, the vast amounts of ambient lighting. Just all around a good nights stay. And the shower was hot and had good pressure. Hospitality was so friendly and gave us a cute breakfast bag I wasn't expecting. I also love architecture so I was immediately in love with the vaulted ceilings, nooks, crannies, and rounded rooms. The Inn also was very clean, and had a little library. I will definitely be booking this for a venue in the future.

The hotel is really nice. The room is cleaned and spacious and come with a fireplace. Recommended to stay upstair for the garden view, however due to winter just end no flower yet.. The staff is so amazing. They gave me the breakfast bag for the next day.. Definitely will stay there agajn in the furure.

Room mentioned sound proof but doubt it the dooe is not tightly sealed. You can see the light from outside on the top left corner and bottom. Other than thar, the room is pretty quiet.

Meals/breakfast is no longer available -which was disappointing. They provided each person a complimentary bag with instant oatmeal, breakfast bar, muffin, and a V-8 fruit juice. The room also had a Krups coffee maker with coffee and tea - which we enjoyed a lot.

Generally, we enjoyed our stay (period) and appreciate the price compared to others. We saw common spaces (DVDs in a den area, kitchen/meal prep area) that parents and special needs travelers should appreciate. It has a boutique/comfortable feel but carpet stains, old furniture, mold in the shower, and a (needy-feeling) early check-in fee ($20 at 2-hours early - for a room that was ready) are holding it back in a cliché kind of way. We'll book again and hope they read these comments.

I loved the tranquil setting and the historic building. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was good-sized with a nice bathtub.

The WiFi was out for the entire stay. They called the company that services them, but three nights without WiFi was rough. Also, the "breakfast" was a bag lunch (essentially) and only for the first day. If they offered breakfast for the remaining two mornings, they did not tell us about it.
