The whole hotel exceeded my expectations. I thought it was pretty nice, the room was ample enough. I liked that it had a mini-frigde (although it didn't cool enough) and a microwave. Staff was nice. Breakfast--although I couldn't fully enjoy it--it was great.

The cleaning issue being every other day. I found that our trash cans were filled pretty fast. I also found a bug in the bathroom, it looked like a tiny baby cockroach. These would have exceeded my expectations: - if the gym opened at 5am - if breakfast started at 5am. We actually had to leave the hotel at 5am and could not grab anything to eat.

Extremely clean & comfortable room- & very helpful cheerful staff . Breakfast was tasty Really appreciate being able to have our dog with us - the pet fee was reasonable (it was great that they gave us a list of local pet related businesses and had us fill out a little pet info card in case of any questions or issues when we were out of the room— I do suggest they add one more line for an alternate contact number in case of some weird human emergency so a family or friend could pick up the dog) They were happy to our stay for one more night so we could rest up before driving a long way home in daylight— much appreciated

That we didn’t plan ahead for the pool :). Next time we’ll bring swimsuits :)

The property was very clean, updated and great location

The hidden fees were crazy for me. I got charged $40 for early check in without my knowledge, charged $150 for incidental which is normally $100 and I wasn’t aware they would charge it all together because they just processed everything together without asking. There was a &6 day fee for parking.

I highly recommend this business, because Ms. Kamari Robinson customer service is second to none. Her product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. I was completely impressed with Ms. Kamari's professionalism and customer service. The ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable. This is my go-to place for Hampton Inn by Hilton in Columbia, MD being the best in town. Ms. Kamari's is not only friendly but also highly skilled. Pricing is fair and transparent - value for money. Efficiency and punctuality are hallmarks of Ms. Kamari's service. I recommend that you keep Ms. Kamari around as long as possible, and consider promoting her, as she has proven today that she is more than qualified to be considered for a senior manager's position.

The front desk staff was exceptional! Very helpful and accommodating. This kind of customer service, especially at a hotel, is rare these days. It's part of the reason I return to this hotel.

I did not like the hot breakfast selection. I would have preferred a simpler choice of scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. The current choice was maple flavored sausage, egg white frittatas and overly seasoned potatoes.

Overall: well organized, easy to drive to, cleanliness, and very adequate breakfast. Initial room (assigned) was not ready for occupancy. Clerk reassigned us to corner room (by stairway).

Initial room assigned: (a) had not been properly cleaned; (b) HVAC system didn't work properly. The 2nd room was a corner room and next to stairway. Apparently, the adjoining stairway area included infrastructure for plumbing or something that loudly hummmmed all night. Recommendation: do NOT accept a corner room.

Morning front desk staff & breakfast service team was very kind and friendly.

Prepared foods at breakfast a bit too spiced for my personal taste (southwest omelets & highly flavored/spiced hash browns). Usually options are plainer to appeal to a wider community. Evening crew at check-in (around midnight) was not very friendly & spoke too quickly when giving us info about hotel accommodations.

Most everything was awesome, the breakfast, the pool, the proximity of parking, friendly staff, cleanliness, room size.

My only complaints which are minor is that there was no laundry machines, and nowhere to change clothes in the pool area, so you need to shower and dry off and go back to your room to change. Also $5 parking charge which may be negotiable.

Called thought it was front desk when we checked back in for one night it was fifty dollars more and was told no points because wasn’t front desk reserved

Booking thinking it is front and finding out no rewards points and 50 dollars more per the one night we extended
