Stuff is excellent. Generally everything was fine. Chef is preparing interesting combination of meals. Lunch was amazing, simple options(mostly pasta) but mastered to perfection. Olive oil is amazing, would buy some but we are not producing our own…. Would suggest some simpler options for dinner as well. In the end we enjoyed lunch more than chefs menu for dinner.

Coperto for lunch and dinner when you are guest of hotel. So if you eat lunch and dinner three days coperto is 90€ for two people or 180€ for four….. way too much, atmosphere is relaxed, restaurant is by the pool and is not michelin class service. Also salami, panchetta or prosciutto crudo is not something made in molecular cuisine…4 thin pcs for me and 4pcs for my fiancee made me laugh a little.

Half hour drive to Firenze. Extraordinary pool area. All of the staff members + the owner are very friendly, professional and attentive to the guests needs. Very good table (kudos to ghe chef) & breakfast and don’t miss pizza evening. The pizza I ate was in my top 3 ever (and I’ve eaten a lot of them over the years!). The rooms and common areas are decorated with perfect taste and quality materials & furniture. Song of the cicidas is there all day. Look out for the “cinghale” at night!

Access to the hotel could sometimes be difficult coming from the autoroute if you follow your GPS. Dusty parking area.

The property is nothing short of fantastic, with a wonderful staff who are kind and available for any request. The rooms are beautiful, not very large but super cozy and equipped with all the comforts you can expect. Reading some reviews here on Booking, I was a bit concerned about the noise from the highway and the breakfast buffet. But I want to reassure everyone. The highway does indeed pass close to the property, but you can only hear a little noise from the poolside loungers; there is no problem in the rooms, where you can live in total peace and relaxation. Those who criticized the breakfast in the reviews now just make me laugh. The buffet is set up on an old and beautiful billiard table, where you can find many delicious products: a wide selection of freshly baked croissants, cakes and plumcakes, ham and salami, bread of various kinds, jams and sweet spreads, fresh yogurt, seasonal fruits and vegetables, cheeses... and also an excellent selection for lactose intolerant and gluten-free diets. However, I confirm that pancakes and omelettes are charged separately, but with all the selection available, there is no need to order any paid consumption! We spent the last dinner of our stay in Florence at the hotel's restaurant, choosing the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. Everything was excellent, both the food and the wine... the menu offers so many options that it's almost hard to choose what you want to eat, so the tasting menu solution is perfect for spending a magnificent evening.

The scenery and the staff are 1st class. The location is breathtaking and everything is taken care nicely. The breakfast was amazing, full of local products.

Only very small things to improve, as the hotel is top notch :) The restaurant is very gourmet-oriented. Which is good sometimes, but could have a bit more varied menu in my opinion. Food is very good though. The breakfast was amazing, full of local products. But it could use more variety also (e g., fresh mozzarella or more cheese varieties, scrambled or fried eggs, pistachio based products, ...). Moreover, there is maybe the opportunity to promote even more activities around Tuscany that can be directly arranged by the hotel (to be honest I did not thoroughly investigate if they had it, but one I checked in there was only a visible mention of bike renting, not much else... But they might take care of other activities also, and I just didn't check).

Our stay at Borgo I Vicelli was a delightful and memorable experience, blending Tuscan charm, exceptional service, and a tranquil rural setting just minutes away from Florence. We were a party of two traveling in Tuscany and had the pleasure of staying at Borgo I Vicelli.The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The service was of an extraordinarily high standard. The staff was extremely attentive, guest-oriented, and exceptionally friendly. Especially during breakfast, the warm conversations led to a wonderful start to the day. The hotel's amenities were upscale and beautifully reflected the Tuscan charm. It created an inviting atmosphere that made our stay particularly special. Although the hotel was located a bit outside, the accessibility by car was excellent. We reached the city center of Florence in just 20 minutes, making the location perfect. The value for money was very good. Given the outstanding offer, the price was more than justified. The overall experience at Borgo I Vicelli was characterized by the best attentive service. The staff was always guest-oriented, extremely polite, and accommodating. We felt incredibly comfortable, and the ladies at the reception as well as the colleague during breakfast made the stay something truly exceptional. We can wholeheartedly recommend Borgo I Vicelli and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Very good food, nice views, lovely rooms and lovely building and surroundings. Overall a very nice experience and a good place to find some peace.

For the quite expensive price I would expect to pay less extras (for example for scrambled eggs at the breakfast are not included). Also I would expect some little services that makes it a real five star experience for example someone who carries your luggage when you arrive/leave. Everything in the hotel (foods/beverages) is quite expensive too when you add it to the room rates.

Like is an understatement, we LOVED this property!! Probably one of the best places we have stayed at during our Italy holiday. Highly recommend this place 10 on 10. Stunning views, amazing staff and beautiful rooms. So much character on the property with an amazing view of the sunrise and sunset. Definitely coming back here and will be recommending this place to everyone reading this!!!!!!

Our stay at this beautiful estate in Tuscany was like a fairytale! The property is stunning, with a lovely pool, breathtaking surroundings, and an unforgettable atmosphere. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and authentic. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed. It’s a truly peaceful and authentic place, perfect for relaxation and pure enjoyment. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel is located in a perfect location for traveling around Tuscany. The hotel itself is beautiful, especially the area where the pool and restaurant are with an amazing view of the mountains. But mostly the staff and the service - they were exceptional!! Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing place, very well kept and with an extremely friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful views and great facilities. A relatively short drive to Florence. I can highly recommend it!

Quite closely located to the motorway, but it was not bothering us whatsoever. I wish the extras at breakfast were included in the price.
