What a great hotel. The location is great as it is a short walk to the train station and the bus station. There are many places to eat nearby. What we did like was that it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. In additon the water was very hot which is something we have not found often in Peru. If you have to leave for Machu Picchu before it is time for breakfast they will make you some food to take with you. The staff were wonderful and could not do enough for us. I would highly recommend staying here.

Nothing. Everything was great.

Good location, clean, cute little towel display on bed on arrival, good shower pressure. They let you store your bags at reception after check out. Nice breakfast with fresh juice, eggs and pancakes. They also give you breakfast to go if you have an early start. In the main area but away enough so that it’s quiet at night.

Note for those with heavy bags that you have to walk uphill to get to the hotel, then walk flights upstairs to get to your room. Shower drain was too small for the water pressure so the shower would fill up with water and take a long time to drain. Soap dispenser at sink didn’t work. Also would be nice to have some complimentary water available on arrival. And more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and clothes.

Comfortable beds, hot shower, good size room, free luggage storage. We got to hang out in the restaurant area while waiting for our late train. For breakfast we got fresh juice, coffee with milk, some fruit, bread with a bit of ham and cheese (there was also jam and butter and tea available) and pancakes with syrup for a filling breakfast the morning we had time. Before Machu Picchu we got packed breakfast that included a tangerine, water bottle, a bit of bread with cheese and butter and some coca candy.

The bread at breakfast was dry. One of the rooms we had booked smelled badly upon arrival but fortunately we got given a different room where we stayed for the 2 nights we had booked. This we are thankful for. The original room got additional clean up and refreshing. I recommend doing something about the wooden windows as they are getting mouldy.

Wonderful property. Really grateful we chose this place. Our experience here was so delightful. It’s small and there’s no elevator so make sure you know that in case you can’t do stairs. But if you can go up one flight of stairs, you’re okay! The room was basic but comfortable. The staff just could not have been more helpful and friendly. Really kind, really accommodating, and in such a sweet and gentle way. The best thing was our incredible breakfast. It wasn’t the usual bland buffet of ham and cheese with bread and butter. Here, you sit down and are served a personalised breakfast with courses! I say personalised because once I communicated I was vegetarian ‘Soy vegetariana!’, Ruth (the chef) and Stefania (the manager) gave me lovely alternatives whilst my boyfriend had his meat. It culminated with us both having the most delicious quinoa hot pancakes with maple syrup. We were offered more but were too full! It’s a busy, bustling, slightly frenetic but wonderful area and this hotel is a gorgeous little oasis of calm and friendliness. I would love to stay here again if ever I returned to Machu Picchu. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Nothing. Basic but lovely.

This was an excellent find! As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is located on a side street, so you don’t have the noise level that you would have on the main street. HOT shower, large bathroom, and a comfy bed! Would 100% recommend staying here. They stored my bag while I was at Machu Picchu for the day as well.

I can’t really think of anything!

It is a small hotel a bit inside and out of the main street, what is a big bonus, because you can relax and don't be disturbed by a noizy environment. Trains neither are not audible. The hosts are great. They made our stay there very comfy and nice and even gave us a huge tart because of my birthday. For free! Beds were comfy and big. Breakfast was ok to start day and climb Machu Picchu. We kept our baggage there until we were back. I haven't sense any moisture or mold in the room.

The hotel is located inside a tiny street, so view from the room was not splendid, but the view from the room was not our primary reason.

Really large comfortable beds. It’s located just off the heart of most bustling street in Machu Picchu/Aguas Calientes, so you’re reprieved from the worst of the noise without compromising much on location. The hot springs and waterfalls are about 10 minute walk away, the bus to Machu Picchu is about 5 minutes away downhill. Showers worked well and were hot. They also pack a breakfast if you ask.

There’s no elevator for those with reduced mobility, so be prepared to climb stairs. It wasn’t a problem for us.

Hotel is owned by a family, the husband went above and beyond for us. He picked us up, even dropped us off to the train station and carried our stuff. He singlehandedly made everyone's breakfast, and he was the person who let us have a great room in the top floor.

The wife at the beginning wouldn't let us have the room we had reserved, even though there was evidence we had asked for a top floor room months ago. She kept saying they were all taken, but there were so many vacant rooms, and the husband eventually just let us choose thankfully.

Staff were very helpful, even came to meet us off the train and collect our bags so that we could head straight to the bus to Machu Picchu. Breakfast was made available from very early in the morning allowing us to head out early. The room was nicely decorated in Peruvian style with fresh orange juice on our arrival. Good value for money.

It's out of the control of the hotel, but our room was quite close to a Karaoke bar. We were so tired that we managed to sleep through the dirge of drunken holidaymakers barking renditions of "Zombie" and "Islands in The Stream".

Very close to everything we needed, about 5-10min walk from train. The staff is super friendly! We had a very early start for out Machu Picchu Tour before the kitchen was open so the night before they asked us an offered to have a little breakfast bag ready. This was the nicest gesture! The showers had hot water and the beds were comfortable. We stayed here one night would definitely recommend!

I couldn't get the TV to work but I was so tired from the trip from Cusco that I fell asleep so easy that it was not a big deal for me.
