Wonderful breakfast comparable with much pricier hotels elsewhere. Perfect central location a few minutes walk from the cathedral

Strange smell in the Reception area - a member of reception staff denied that it exists Noise from the public seating in the street behind the hotel on the Saturday night. Local stoners meet there with a music player to smoke dope, drink and throw McDonalds litter around. This in January with temp of minus 2 Degrees! Staff when asked just shrugged it off as normal for youths. Because of other reviews I had brought very good gel ear plugs so could still sleep.

The room was nice, spacious, and clean. Very comfortable matress. Central location makes it easy to visit the most important places in Aachen.

To enter the city by car, you need special eco sticker for your car, but it is hard to get one on the weekends. The fines are quite high. The hotel informed us about available parking but did not mention we need a permit to enter the city. In the end we had to leave the car at P&R parking and take public transport to the centre which might be complicated if you have a lot of luggage.

I loved the room, it was spacious, and nice, with a balcony. I really enjoyed it. And big windows! The breakfast was very good. And the greatest was the staff in this hotel, everybody was so nice, helpful, always with a smile, talking to you, I loved this atmosphere. It was not a feeling of the hotel, but friends that you are visiting. I like these vibes. And the location is wonderful because it is in the city centre, next to the old town, so everything is very close.

Early in the morning was the noise from the street, noise from cleaning the streets and so on. But the building is old, the windows may not be so soundproof and this is the reason. But it is not easy to solve, so I accepted it and it was not a big deal for me! :)

Location. Value for money, parking and reception staff. Very helpful reception staff helped us find the parking. They also helped with midnight snacks and additional pillows. We always received a warm greeting.

I asked two questions about the property before our visit on the booking.com facility to contact your host. Neither question was ever answered. For future visitor the height in the car park was fine for our SUV. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. The hotel was conveniently located near attractions, shopping center and public transport. The surroundings were peaceful and safe. Special perks like complimentary drinks, and food like candies, drinks, cookies, etc..

The only thing is no fridge in the room

We only stayed for a night but the hotel was absolutely fine for the price we paid. Clean, welcoming and in a great location. We did not eat breakfast but we did take advantage of the free items from the snack bar, which was a nice option. Special mention for the reception team who were fantastic both in recommending local places to eat and transport options but also because they were just really nice people. Happy to chat to our little daughter and super accommodating.

Nothing went wrong, no issues with the hotel

The location of the hotel in the centre of Aachen is excellent. It is a short walk to the Dom, the shops and lots of good restaurants. The hotel car park is close and we got clear instructions on how to find it before we arrived. The breakfast was also excellent - a good choice of foods and drinks in a comfortable setting overlooking the main street.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for all the sites to see in / around Aachen. The breakfast offered a nice variety - especially liked the honeycomb. Lockers for holding luggage before check-in / after check-out was a nice bonus.

One of the two lifts was out of service for the full week I was there.

Although a little old, the property is very comfortable, well maintained and has an excellent location. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

The bathtubs could be removed to have regular showers.

But still the area was quiet. - Comfortable bed, pillows and shower. - Diverse good breakfast. - Separate Thank you! for the checkout at 12 o'clock. Very convenient, you do not need to be in a rush in the morning. - Beautiful staircase!

The furniture was not new in the room, but it is not a problem. It was still good and comfortable.
