I made reservations for my aunt who was coming in from Chicago. The answers are hers not my own.

I didn't like the fact that when making the reservation, I elected to pay upon completion of the stay/ at check-out. As per your proper protocol, the front desk was to actually see the credit card which was guaranteeing payment - NOT to charge it to the card. That didn't happen. My aunt paid in cash at check-out ( 08.31.2024), but my card was also charged at check-in ( 08.30.2024 ). Following this ordeal, I was unable to speak to anyone at the hotel who could assist me with correcting this error on YOUR part. Finally, Ms. Whitney, bless her heart, helped me out. I'm still upset at the way this was handled. My account is still missing that money. This is unacceptable.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. After reporting the TV and faucet problems, and realizing that the lady originally told us the TV didn't work because of storms (which was untrue) they offered us free refreshments to go, but we did not accept them. See the didn't likes to clarify what we experienced.

When we arrived the TV did not work, said no signal. The lady at the the desk said it was because of bad storms they recently had. We went to dinner and when we came back, still no TV. I looked behind it and saw that the coaxial cable was pulled apart, actually broken. I was able to shove it together and got it working. The bathroom water faucet came apart. I reported these 2 items to the front desk when we left. Also my wife noticed a smell when we first came into the hotel and later were told by another traveler that at 2:30 that afternoon, the hotel had a sewage backup and the smell was horrible. The staff never mentioned that.

The location was great , right near the interstate which made it easy to travel to our destinations.

Didn't like the fact that my nephew made the reservation for me under the impression that I was to pay when when my stay was completed. However, they charged my stay to his credit card he used to secure the room the same day that I checked into the hotel. Then, when I left ( upon checkout) I paid in cash. So, the room was paid for twice. It took them several days to find someone who could correct the error. That was ridiculous.

the breakfast was good. It seemed like you had to be there right at 6:30 to get a really good variety of food.

They need to just have everything restocked if it is out. Some days we just got the scraps and my husband asked if they could cook more and he was told no. It wasn't even near 9:00am.

Breakfast was very good. Eggs, bacon/sausage, pancakes, biscuits and gravy. Room was modern and clean. Thermostat was on the wall rather than a setting on the AC Unit. Fridge and microwave were a nice addition.

There could have been more light over the desk / luggage area.

Everything. The hotel is very nice and clean. It is in a nice location within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. It exceeded my exceptations and I will definitely stay here again,

The breakfast is over to early. 9am is to early for breakfast to be ending, folks are just waking and getting dressed at this time especially if you were on the road late.

Angel met me on front desk and I simply couldn't ask for a friendlier more knowledgeable person to greet me all my questions were answered with extra helpful tips, she deserves a raise that girl.

it is a bit far out of town so expensive on transport

It was convenient & well kept. I was grateful they had security cameras around the property.

I’ve stayed at another Holiday Inn Express in Memphis & the staff taking care of breakfast was a lot better.

Offers a full service hot breakfast with many food options. Friendly staff I would like to recognize Dara ,Nahomy, and Ollie. They all made our stay comfortably ,great customer service, convenient location to get around to all of our things to do on our list
