very easy access to the beach through the back of the house Front desk Stefanie is very helpful, smart, and gives lots of information

the neighbors next door have chickens that wake you up at 3 in the morning. They have 4-5 dogs that bark regardless of the time at people on the street if you are not sensitive to noise, I recommend it with pleasure

Wonderful little Inn in a quieter area of San Pedro. Just steps from the waterfront, this is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore Ambergris Caye and San Pedro on a budget. My wife and I stayed in one of their private rooms, and we were very happy with it. The staff is super friednly and helpful, the Inn is very cute with its little plunge pool in the courtyard, and if you want to cook your own meals, there is a small kitchen available. They even provide you with water, coffee and tea at the front desk, and there are some after sun lotions and sun screen available that you can borrow. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Drift Inn and in San Pedro and would definitely recommend staying here.

Drift Inn is a cute little spot. Good vibes and has everything you need. The free coffee and tea in the morning is a nice bonus. It’s attached to the Sandbar beach hostel, so you are able to use the rooftop infinity pool overlooking the ocean as well as the restaurant and bar areas. It has its own little pool too to hang out after 10pm when sandbar pool closes.

This has less to do with the hotel and more to do with San Pedro, but there is no beach. The entire area is primarily docks with nowhere to really swim in the ocean or lay out on the sand. You have to drive 40 min to Secret Beach, which still isn’t really a beach, to lay out on chairs and swim. This was a really big bummer for us.

Love this place, from the first moment you step in the staff makes you feel like at home. Even extended my stay (to 18 days in total), would have never left if I could !! The so called Sandbar hostel right behind Drif Inn (where I stayed 9y ago) is still very social. Very easy to meet other travelers and locals as well. The Island vibes are great too. As solo female traveler felt safe at all times. Stephanie is very supportive. Receptionists & bar tenders too. Thanks guys !!!

Would have loved the mattress to be less softer. It wasn’t the most appropriate for people with back issues. But, my room was in 1st floor so almost perfect. Also, they charge in advance regardless if there is a threat of hurricanes, I could have lost 800 USA bcs they would have never reimbursed me. Maybe, better to fully avoid traveling on this period of time !

The property is attached to a nice beach lounge, literally 2 min from the beach. Dive shops, beach, Supermarkets are all within walking distance. The Taco restaurant next door is FANTASTIC - my kids begged me to go back 3 times. The inn itself is awesome, and has a real family feel. The walk-around balcony and the communal kitchen give a real community feel. It is great to socialize with the othe guests (if you want). The Inn provided personal recommendations on everything, from places to eat, what excursions to book where, recommended diving spots etc - simply fantastic.

The front desk staff is what made Drift Inn what it was. Ada, Kevin and Stephanie were always so kind in answering any question that would arise and made it feel like home. The beds were comfy.

The wifi was a problem the whole time I was there, it didn't reach my room but they were nice about switching rooms etc if I wanted. The AC also feels like it needs to be explained better. Mine never turned on one night but thankfully the fan attached to the wall was potent enough but I think it's something to know for any future clients who does run hot.

Drift inn property was sick! Overall a wonderful stay. About a 5-7 minute walk on the beach from the water taxi. Super easy and accessible and pretty much directly on the beach. Their “partnership” with the sandbar offers good opportunity to drink/eat freely without moving around much, especially if it is raining. The first night I arrived the owner of the hostel connected me up with a great group of people to hang around with and was also able to provide sooo many amazing opportunities for various different activities on the island, whether it was diving/snorkeling, exploring around or eating. Best host Iv had in my travels thus far :) wonderful gal beautiful person. The rest of the staff were fantastic as well. The other receptionists and cleaning staff went above and beyond to help out with whatever you needed, whether it was laundry, directions, food, tours whatever. Such fun people to hang around and chat with. Wonderful energy overall and location was top tier. Cleanliness was never an issue, nor did I have any other problems throughout my stay at this location ( little over 2 weeks). Drift inn does a great job in making you feel at home. Thank y’all so much for having me, stoked to have stumbled across this little pad. Looking forward to seeing the place again sometime down the line. Until next time, cheers and much love!!

Was all good

The location was excellent. Shops, restaurants, street food stalls, and the beach are all 5 minutes or less away. The room was spacious, clean, and cleaned whenever requested. The staff were beyond kind and helpful, and regularly went out of their way to help us with all manner of questions and requests.

Nothing that was within the hotel's power. Prices for the island, if you aren't careful or ask around, get get pretty obscene. This is a tourist hotspot and prices are even more expensive than Japan in many places.

Super great athmosphere, friendly chatty personal including cat, they help with all you need, beautiful spacious and well equiped rooms and common area with small pool and kitchen (and a second cat), in second row behind the beach good location. I would come here again when in Belize 100%

As all of San Pedro its a bit noisy outside when using the balcony, its the golf carts and air conditioning units of the bigger hotels/the hostel next door.

The central location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff provided great information leading up to our stay. The room was perfect for our stay and air conditioning was excellent.

We loved our stay, the only thing we could possibly comment on is perhaps having a broom in the room would be helpful to sweep out the sand we brought in on our shoes. But this was available at reception. We really enjoyed our stay.
