Large spacious room, nice refrigerator, nice little bar area and sitting space. Good breakfast friendly staff ready to serve

Room was OK, bed was a little soft for my taste. Bathroom showed evidence of rust on door frame and fire sprinkler head. Not really sure a bathroom ventilation a sign said it was an in-line ventilation system but we never felt any air movement or heard a fan running. I went out to get in the pool but found it to have trash and debris in it so I didn’t use it

The rooms were clean and the beds were absolutely wonderful, so comfortable. The shower was great, awesome water pressure. Breakfast had a lot of options, which was nice.

The bathroom had enough lighting for makeup application, but can't get close to mirror without sitting on counter, which I wasn't about to do. Plenty of mirrors you could get close up to in bedroom, but lighting was dismal at best and some of the lights didn't turn on. There were red stains on the floor (I'm assuming from another occupant).

Great location. Right by Southport area and a 15 min drive to Oak Island. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with any questions or need for additional towels. The room had a nice layout and the A/c unit was overall pretty quiet. The breakfast was simple but had just enough to satisfy all our picky eaters.

We had 2 rooms. Both were tidy could have been a little cleaner (dusty corners, grimy microwave). One room smelled fine. The other room had a urine/mildew odor coming from the bathroom. The tub in that same room was very slow to drain also (may have been the reason).

Really, I loved pretty much everything. The staff were hospitable and helpful. I would stay here again!

I wish that y'all (and many other motels) would steam clean/shampoo the carpets in the rooms. I wear white socks and even when I don't leave the room (and am not wearing shoes) my socks end up being dark brown. I'm sure the room had been vacuumed. It needs a deeper cleaning than vacuuming.

The town! It was so small and cute town. Under the same hotel at different locations was disappointed but for this one, I was impressed as the room has the sofa/desk/coffee table. It's so spacious. The room is clean and comfortable for us to stay.

The laundromat in the hotel was out of order. We have to drive down to the laundromat place. The breakfast was okay. It could do much better than that.

Location, Cost/ Value, Friendly Staff

The bed needs to be replaced in the ADA king room we had. And the bathroom needs more floor towels because it’s a danger (lol ask me how I know). The fridge only partly worked so we had to throw away food. Besides that, the room was big and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is tucked away from the Main Street so it is quiet with minimal traffic. The rooms were extremely clean. The pool was a nice bonus too. Free breakfast was appreciated.

No house keeping services were offered unless you stayed five days and then you had to request it. Understandably, they were short-staffed and I could have requested additional towels/trash pick up. I really didn’t need it for myself-I’m pretty flexible. But that’s the only thing I can think of that was “negative.”

The hotel was clean, the staff was nice and the location was close to the boardwalk and other stores.

The hotel was booked to maybe 20 percent capacity at best. I requested to be on the top floor and there were definitely spaces available but the guy at front desk said they didn’t have it available. Not a huge deal but I could have been accommodated.

The room and bed were very comfortable. Everything was rather clean and there were zero noise complaints. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, as far as recommendations for activities in the area. Will definitely be returning.

Would have liked for my trash to be emptied.. Trash cans tiny not emptied in three days. Started taking trash to other trash cans outside my room Couch and chair hard not comfortable for reading or watching TV
