Amazing mountain view, nice friendly staff, tasty breakfast, clean bathroom, and many drinks in minibar. The pool is nice and they also can give you the bathrobes if you ask

Coffee machine in my room did not work (I added water but it was showing red water sign). And the AC was moldy inside so I did not use it. I hope they'll fix it

Everything was perfect and the staff made everything even more so. The location is spot on for enjoying Garmisch, it is very accessible, the town is a short walk away as is the station for adventures further afield. The staff were wonderful, everybody warm and welcoming and went out of their way to make the stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The surprise Birthday treat at breakfast was just one such moment. The breakfast is great, lots of choices, the room was extremely comfortable, excellent space and facilities and with a lovely view from the balcony. The pool is fantastic, great for a morning start or a wind down after a long day out and about. It is a great place to relax, enjoy and explore from.

The staffs are super helpful and nice. The location is perfect, close to ski resort and the train station, 10min on foot. The breakfast is good, and environment is super nice. You will see the mountains from the dining room.

The pillows are so thin, would be great to have one good pillow than two thin pillows. The bathroom has a strong smell.

Our room was wonderfully appointed and quite large, with a very large balcony that had amazing views. I wish we had been able to stay in town longer just to enjoy this room and hotel longer. The amenities were excellent, though we didn't have time to make use of them all, but this is very well-equipped hotel. The breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was easy to find and very convenient to the shopping district and several restaurants.

The bathroom in our room was a bit awkwardly designed, with a slanted ceiling and inadequate lighting for a bathroom. However, it's worth noting that our friends' room had an amazing bathroom, so not all of them are the same. However, this was a minor inconvenience for us in light of how wonderful the rest of our stay was.

The location is great. You can't beat it. Close enough to town to easily walk there within five minutes and yet quiet enough to relax. My dog was treated very well as someone brought her a bowl, bed, and magazines to read while we were all out of the room for dinner. :-) We appreciated the kindness and attention. (Dog was with us...) Hotel staff members were all very professional and polite. Elevator on site to easily carry luggage to room. Nice pool and tempting spa amenities that I didn't get to take advantage of this time. We rented family room for 3 adults and it was a comfortable situation with a second bed and lovely balcony,

Breakfast was a lovely continental, help yourself setup with great choices but no freshly cooked options, unless I missed it somehow. If I have to be honest, however, I missed the fresh Belgian waffles from years ago when hotel was known under a different name. The hotel, while very clean and nice, is also showing some signs of age and several places looked like they could use a fresh coat of paint.

Spacious room. Very clean. Lovely place. Decent breakfast. Lots of restaurants 5 mins walk away. Car parking also available overnight (charged). Zugspitze train station is a 15 min walk. Avis is 5 mins walk away.

Really nothing to complain about. Everything was great. Just a bit far from the train station - it's a 15 min walk, which can be uncomfortable with suitcases. Uber doesn't work in GP. Hotel can call u a taxi. If i want to be really harsh i would say they only had one sofa bed and couldn't provide an extra bed despite charging me 30 euros per night per for my 15 yr old, but it did include breakfast.

This is such a charming hotel. Very clean too. The German chalet design was lovely and we got an amazing balcony room with a stunning view of Zugspietz (the highest mountain in Germany). It literally looked like a post card and pictures didn't do the view justice. Delicious breakfast buffet and only a couple blocks to walk into the adorable town. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had to pay $12 for parking, which I wasn't thrilled about. Also, the room did have A/C but it really doesn't work like A/C in the States. It does not get cold and there were no fans. We slept with the windows open, yet the air was still stuffy in the room all night.

Centrally located hotel with modern rooms (we stayed in a deluxe double room). Additional requests like crib and windows to the inner yard have been fulfilled with no questions. Good spa facilities for adults with 3 types of saunas. A separate room with a 10m swimming pool. Nice restaurant with good level of food quality and big portions, so half board was worth it besides our first evening, which was Sunday when only salad bar was available. Overall, the hotel matched our expectations, and we had a good time as a family.

Some minor points: Accessibility of the room with a stroller was a small challenge since there were a few steps on the way. We had to lift the stroller every time we went to breakfast/dinner and back. Alternative was a lift through a garage. Some personnel in the restaurant were rather disorganised while serving the dinner. Massage quality was OK with 45 min of active massaging out of 50.

- View is nice. - Location: just 5 minutes walking from the city center, 2 minutes walking from Ski bus stop, 12-15 min walking from central station. - Staff is super polite and very helpful. - Very tasty cuisine and a wide variety of drinks, great breakfast. - Area to play with kids. - You can skip cleaning and get 5 euro voucher to spend in a restaurant / bar.

- Rooms need to have a bit renovation. Somewhere the walls are dirty, somewhere the paint has peeled off. It doesn't cost a lot of time and money. - The pool is only open in the evening, the temperature in the pool is unstable and varies from day to day.

The personnel at the hotel were extremely helpful and went above and beyond what you would expect from staff. Janos and his colleague, on reception, were outstanding. The only negative comment I could make about the staff were the two ladies who were on reception the morning we left. They were not very friendly nor very polite. The Location of the hotel is within walking discance of both the town and train.

We were travelling with our daughter and grand daughters and requested two rooms to be near each other. Unfortunatley we were in a separate building and nowhere near each other. We were disappointed with the location of the rooms, because getting from one to the other was like a labyrinth.
