Thank you for inviting us into your home. It really felt like visiting friends. Thank you for making s feel so welcome. Your home is absolutely stunning- what great views from the balcony over Moss Baai. We got up for the sunrise and added 2 photos to the review. We also enjoyed that we could purchase wine and beer from you and order pizza delivery. Great to have dinner with candle light on the balcony rather than walking into the centre in the dark. Enjoyed the breakfast that was included in the price.

Our bathroom was a little dated but the shower worked well and it was nice to have a bathtub. So it was not a big issue for us.

Property is located in a central part of Mossel bay close to attractions and activities. Clean and beautiful room with balcony had exceptional views overlooking the bay. The host, Michal, met us at the door and was extremely helpful and hospitable. The staff served us with an excellent breakfast before we set off on our adventures.

There was nothing to complain. Everything was perfect. We arrived on a Sunday evening which also was a local holiday so we had some trouble finding places open for dinner, but were eventually able to find one.

I can’t describe how welcomed and comfortable I felt stepping through the door. It was as if I was visiting a family friend. The welcome Lizette gave me was the nicest I’ve ever had. She went above and beyond to provide me with taxi numbers, restaurant recommendations and transfers. She even packed me a breakfast for the day I was checking out early. The breakfast was better than a five star hotel. I would highly recommend. As a solo Irish female traveller I could not recommend her more! I will 100% return and recommend her to my friends.

I loved everything

The location was fantastic, and the accommodation was equally impressive. Our experience was greatly enhanced by the incredible hospitality of our hosts. While we were in town, we fell ill (unrelated to the accommodation), and Lizette went above and beyond to care for us. She kindly made us soup and even offered to fetch medication. Lizette was truly an angel. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and we definitely plan to return on our next trip to South Africa

Words cannot describe this breath taking gem in Mosselbay. The guest house is perfectly located close to many restaurants, coffee shops and multiple tourist activities. The views from the guesthouse are spectacular! The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea that was available in our room. Each morning started with a delicious breakfast and complimentary coffee or tea. A variety of breakfast options were given to us and our hosts were more than happy to accommodate our dietary needs such as providing gluten-free options. Lizette en Michal are spectacular hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They made us feel right at home and after our stay I can say that they feel like family. They know Mosselbay of by heart and made many recommendations on coffee shops and restaurants we should try. Since we could not attend breakfast on the morning of our departure, they even prepared a snack pack for us. We are cannot wait for our next trip to Mosselbay as we will definitely book Aqua Marina again.

The room was very comfortable with the most amazing view out to sea. Michal checked us in and gave great tips for places to eat in the town. The two ladies at breakfast I didn't get their names were so lovely and gracious. The fruit salad and omelette I had were delicious along with lots of filter coffee. Perfect place to stay for a few nights on our garden route journey.

Nothing it was all really exactly as I needed it.

The property has a lovely terrace to enjoy the fabulous views. The hosts and staff are fab really friendly and relaxed and you feel like you are a friend staying in their home. The communication with them is great, as is the introduction to the property when you arrive. They do some nice touches, for example a welcome chocolate for each of us on arrival. The bed was large, comfortable and long (my tall husband has complained that some of the places we have stayed the beds are too short)! The air con in our room was good, really worked and not loud. Breakfast was lovely and freshly made. I had the best cup of tea since being in SA, served in a china cup and saucer.😀

Michal welcomed us very nicely and the guesthouse is located perfectly with a beautiful view into Mossel Bay. From there you can easily access the beach (10-12min walk), restaurants or the lighthouse from where you can start the beautiful hike along the St. Blaze Trail (safe and beautiful, around 2.5h). We enjoyed a good breakfast with a view and had a very comfortable room. Thank you all for the unforgettable stay!

We loved staying at Aqua Marina Guest House. The views from our balcony were magnificent. Our room and the guest house are beautifully appointed. Michal was a very welcoming host and gave us some good advice for dinner in Mossel Bay. And the breakfast was delicious, with great views of the bay too. We highly recommend this beautiful guest house!

We had an amazing time in Mossel Bay. The hosts were very helpful, giving us tips on safety, restaurants and how to get around. The room was inviting,spacious and warm ( we visited in winter) with amazing views on the bay. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very delicious. I would stay again.
