Breakfast very good, in fact all food very good. quiet and tranquil location with easy access to A roads in the area. Good service from friendly staff. Room very comfortable and quiet, bed superbly comfortable, tea and coffee with biscuits in room. The bar area full of character with woodburner and excellent menu, comprising of basic to full evening speciailties. really could not have wished for more.

This little country pub is outstanding in every way. Located in a picturesque quiet village in the heart of the Somerset countryside. The greeting was kind and heartfelt, the service prompt homely and professional, the rooms clean spacious and furnished in a period fashion with modern amenities. What is truly amazing is the food, we have traveled the world and eaten in some of the finest restaurants, and I honestly have to say that the meal we had prepared for us was in every way an equal to anywhere we have been if not better.

Very warm welcome from all the staff with superb location in a small village as expected. lovely well appointed and immaculately clean room with a super comfy bed. Evening meal and breakfast was very good had friendly courteous greetings from all the staff thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

Breakfast and evening meal was excellent Location couldn't have been better for the "Tarr Steps" walk we went for Lovely cosy pub, log fires with excellent rooms, very clean and tidy They put the football on especially for us

We thought the pub started to close up a little early. 22.30 on a Saturday night. The pub was quiet and we were probably ready for bed anyway

Excellent room with everything that you need for a stay with a really comfortable bed. Evening meal in the bar was great and a good choice of real ales! Breakfast was awesome - wide choice, beautifully cooked and served with a smile. Best full English I’ve had in a long time!

We were promised robes & slippers but they didn’t materialise - not a major problem though.

Utterly fantastic place 😃 the welcome, hospitality and service was second to none. Room super comfortable and food fantastic. We were walking and host went out of her way to do an earlier breakfast for us - so kind. And what a breakfast! Set us up for the day 👍

Breakfast fabulous, quiet location,lovely village. Idyllic.

Some of the decor was a little dated & lacking in maintenance. Carpet burned by a previous client with iron. I guess we're not used to paying £150 pn B&B in a pub. But the stay was very enjoyable & staff excellent and welcoming.

The village is very pretty and peaceful. Dinner and breakfast were excellent - freshly cooked and served piping hot. The bed was comfortable and the room a good size. It was good value for money.

Really comfy rooms, lovely bathrooms (great to have a bath) dinner was lovely and breakfast as well. Team could not do enough for us or get enough for us. Portions were really good and food delicious.

Warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere, superb dinner, even more superb breakfast, comfy, spacious rooms. Tracy and team went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience.

We couldn't park in the pub car park but this wasn't an issue for us (The car park isn't very big)
