The breakfast was delicious. Quality produce, well cooked. The room(Bossington) was lovely and quiet. Everything was spotlessly clean. Parking is provided, as well as the use of the lovely garden. The village of Bossington is gorgeous, with both a river and a pebble beach.

We knew the shower room is not en suite ...it is situated at the end of a small passage..It is very small and chilly. There is a heated towel rail, but it wasn't warm at all during our stay.

The location in a National Trust village with immediate access to beautiful countryside. The house is compact and cozy and the breakfast room has lovely view of the fields. Breakfast was excellent, full English and good choice of cereals. Coffee served in a large cafeteria. Very generous. Owner friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

The location is good for hikers: the South West Coast Path passes the cottage nearby. The owner seemed to be used to hikers and didn't mind my dusty boots. Service was friendly. The house and garden looked great and my 1-night stay was really peaceful. My room and bathroom were spacious. There was a kettle, coffee and tea in the room, and a small fridge in the corridor with fresh milk. Wi-Fi worked well. The breakfast was nice.

We loved staying with Sandra, Martin and Nellie. They were full of information about things to see and do, as well as the local area, which was interesting! Great walk to the beach, look out point and back!

Water pressure was bad. But that was to be expected in such a wonderful old house. Nothing the hosts can do about it as it is a National Trust property.

The village of Bossington is incredibly special and it was a privilege to stay there. Tudor cottage is unique - and in the most beautiful setting. The hosts were very accommodating of hikers from a muddy trail and it was appreciated that they took a single night booking as we were walking the coastal path. The breakfast was exceptionally tasty - and cooked to order and choice of cold options too.

We liked the location and the character of the cottage and the rooms were lovely and well stocked with tea,coffee and bathroom items. Views from the windows were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and Sandra was very knowledgeable. Breakfast was excellent and a varied selection of choices.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Nice location, traditional cottage, very clean and nice owners.

Only downside was no en suite, but the character of the cottage doesn’t lend to fitting in an en suite, you do get your own private bathroom. So not a major issue.

Lovely old cottage, very comfortable and clean. Nice garden to use if the weather is fine. Our hosts were very welcoming and the breakfasts were excellent.

Beautiful place, peaceful and quiet environment! Friendly, helpful host and excellent service. The beach is close.
