From the moment we arrived it was lovely. Linda greeted us with a smile, showed us to our room and then made us a pot of tea and some beautiful homemade cakes. Our room had a lovely comfy bed, nice bathroom was clean and had everything you could think of tea facilities, tv, hairdryer and even a hot water bottle if you needed it. It was lovely to wake up to lovely views from our bedroom it was so peaceful. Breakfast was lovely a great choice of cereal, freshly cooked English breakfast and beautiful toast to finish. Nothing was too much trouble they had maps, books everything to help plan your adventures Thank you for a Fantastic, relaxing stay we would definitely recommend you and hopefully see you again x

We had to go home we would have loved to stay longer

This is a traditional B&B run by Linda on a farm that she and her husband Andrew own. The bedrooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a nice selection of cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit followed by a full English. Highly recommend this establishment. It’s in a fab location, very quiet and idyllic actually. Linda and Andrew are friendly and happy to help should you have any queries. Loved the cat Woody! The other cat is a bit shy. Hopefully we will be back in the future.

Nothing to dislike at all.

Our four-night stay at Zeal Farm was everything we could have hoped for and more. Nestled deep in the tranquil countryside of North Devon, right on the edge of the stunning Exmoor National Park, it was the ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our host, Linda, was simply wonderful. Her warm and welcoming nature made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Each morning, she provided an absolutely delicious breakfast that was the perfect start to our days of exploring. A special mention must go to the resident four-legged friend, Spud the dog. He was an absolute delight and we were thrilled to have made friends with him. His playful and gentle nature added so much joy to our stay. Overall, Zeal Farm offers a truly magical experience. With its beautiful location, a truly lovely host, and a charming dog to keep you company, it's the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. We thoroughly recommend it.

There wasn't anything to dislike.

The room was immaculate, finished to a really nice standard and supremely clean. The host was more than welcoming and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. The bed was amazing, really good quality with white cotton bedding. White towels were available in the bathroom. Breakfast was cooked fresh every day or cereal, fruits and preserves if you prefer. This is a traditional working farm so not for you if you prefer ultra modern facilities but if you like traditional, comfort and clean this is a definite yes.

There was nothing to dislike about our stay.

Quiet clean private and relaxed. Andrew guided me to my room straightaway. The fruit and breakfast are fresh and delicious. Full range of maps, touring advice and a welcome to rest or read in the front room. Plenty of parking space on level ground. Linda is a generous host. The room and bathroom are first rate.

I liked everything.

It felt like home away from home. Perfect escape from the daily routine of life. Linda and Andy were welcoming in their home and felt comfortable and at ease. Breakfasts were awesome! Linda checked in and gave suggestions of places to explore and where to have dinner. Beautiful setting and having the animals on the farm, including the gorgeous cats and sheepdogs!

Very nice location. In the countryside with good access for walking. Good breakfast.

The owner identified that we dont have an English accent. She asked where are we from and we said we live in London but she and insisted on asking where are we original from which we didn’t feel was necessary or relevant to our visit. Otherwise she was very nice but this made us feel uncomfortable.

Perfect nature getaway with plenty of sightseeing, wild ponies and more to do. Hosts are fantastic and friendly, they make a brilliant breakfast and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and give information about the area. Another bonus is the dogs and the wee pup. Thankyou for making us feel welcome.

Location was great. As we went in February the weather wasn't great but I can imagine during the summer months it would be absolutely stunning. Breakfast was excellent. And the owners had great information about the local area, nothing was too much trouble for them. We would definitely stay here again!
