We absolutely loved our weekend break at Croydon Hall! Set in the wonderful Exmoor countryside, this beautiful house provided just the peaceful retreat we were looking for. We were lucky to visit on the most beautiful weekend, so got to enjoy the lovely pool in all its glory (and it was just the perfect temperature)! Plenty of lovely pubs nearby and not far from Minehead, the perfect location for peace and quiet whilst not feeling too remote! The staff were wonderful! We were looked after by two lovely women throughout our stay who could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed despite being very busy. We enjoyed breakfast one morning, unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open for dinner during our stay, but I'm sure that would have been wonderful too!

My partner and I stayed here for one night after going to the golden retriever experience and well we had the most wonderful relaxing time ever!The hotel itself is just beautiful and the room was just amazing especially with the nice big bath and the stunning views!! the hospitality off Mark was great I couldn't believe how much effort he went to, especially to do us breakfast in the morning when it was only me and my partner in the hotel! it was all set up so lovely, and well the breakfast was amazing especially the scrambled egg!! best one I have had in a long time! It’s Just a really really lovely place to stay in a beautiful area, I can't recommend this place more.

There was nothing to not like!

Croydon Hall is quite difficult to find, located in a small dip close to the coast. When you finally approach it the look of the isolated mansion is very nice and romantic. The inside of the large building has been kept with love to detail and manages to give you a feeling of its former grandeur, still being up to date and comfortable. The dinner offered was excellent- we enjoyed the menu, the wines and the super friendly staff.

The location is quite isolated. If the weather is bad and you cannot enjoy the park or swimming pool, it can be quite time consuming to get to the nearby coastal villages of other locations.

the place was so peaceful and secluded, loved being woken to the sounds of sheep’s and lambs, proper country. The people were lovely and welcoming and the food was top notch. thank you for having us!

don’t clean your car before you go, the muddy roads will give your tyres a new colour.

We had an amazing stay at Croydon Hall! What a beautiful location and stunning hotel. All the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was lovely too and in a stunning room with a great view. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

If we are being very picky, there were no biscuits or milk in the hotel room. But like I said, that is being really picky! I’m sure the staff would’ve helped if we asked but it didn’t really matter that much to us.

Lovely country hotel. Clean and comfortable. Spa area was nice and useful to have booking slots to enjoy the jacuzzi in private. Staff were lovely!

Breakfast was expensive.

We liked the presentation of the rooms, views from the grounds, cleanliness of the pool and the temperature of the water 👍 Mark was very friendly and obliging

What was there not to like?!!

The staff were super friendly, really lovely atmosphere! Excellent breakfast and lovely evening meal as well. The spa and swimming pool were fantastic. The location is stunning. It's very peaceful there as it is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of everything. I would recommend it to anyone.

If I had to find fault in something, it would be that one of the saunas wasn't working when we came, other than that it was perfect!

Beautiful location, tentative staff, especially the young lady who was working. Free Jacuzzi, steam, and sauna room was an amazing extra. The food was lovely too.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The room size was amazing, with gorgeous views. Lovely, deep bath tub and a massive shower! A sink, microwave, mini fridge and kettle. They provided milk and sachets of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We would definitely stay again! 10/10
