Excellent, warm room. Very clean and well set up. At £70 or so a night for 2 of us with breakfast a bargain. Breakfast was work-a-day and not special, but perfectly good. We came for a gig at the Arts Centre - about 5 min walk and moved on next morning. Good choice for us.

Lack of off road parking at the pub. On road available but limited time pr metered. Internal stairs tricky and potentially dangerous for elderly souls less nimble on their feet. Ask about downstairs or up the straight staircase with good handrail if that applies to you..

The room was very clean and tastefully furnished. The pub was on the edge of the town and close to reasonably priced parking. The staff were very helpful and friendly and provided a very good breakfast. The price was reasonable and I am already planning to stay here again. Overall we really liked the Green Dragon despite the little niggle described below.

Our room was very warm (good) but at night we had to open a window and noisy fans outside were a little irritating.

Lovely clean comfortable room. Super quiet which was lovely (Room #1) Big shower room with plenty of towels. Bed was super comfy with four soft pillows... Only had the room for one night due to celebrating arrival of family baby a bit too much. Appreciated being able to make tea in the room when I woke up . Breakfast was good and much needed. Manager is nice chap, friendly & polite.

The only "toiletries" was a box bolted to the wall in the shower with shower gel in, so no hand soap for sink (and no minatures to take home 😉). It is the little things sometimes that make all the difference guys.

Excellent central location. Room a little cosy (number 12) but very clean and well equipped. All staff were super friendly. Breakfast was excellent (full English) No car park on site but public car park directly opposite. Only £3 from 4.00pm when we arrived until afternoon of following day. Quick tip ...... the car park machine does not make this clear but the time you pay for carries over into the following day.

Fantastic location for an event we were attending at a local school. Friendly helpful staff, and more than adequate for our overnight stay.

The room was small but sufficient for an overnight stay, and parts of our room, like the light fitting, could have done with some love and the tea facilities in the room had not been replenished from the last guests but these are only minor gripes. Breakfast was lovely but I always feel there should be a 2 per item minimum for a FULL English breakfast, only 1 sausage and 1 mushroom on mine 😉

Lovely little room with character. Nice and clean with all the things you need for a night's stay. Breakfast was good, hot breakfast made to order with cereal and juice available. Car parking close by.

Food stopped being served early the day we arrived (may be due to it being boxing day), however due to us staying there might have been good to have an option for us. The courtyard was noisy with smokers quite late.

Comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Close to reasonably priced car parking (£1.20 for 2 hours). Despite the little niggle below we will stay again and this was our second stay recently.

Our room was above the pub dartboard and we could hear every shot played. It was difficult to get to sleep until they finished playing but that wasn't too bad as they stopped at 11 pm.

A great stay at the Green Dragon, nice pub with friendly locals, the rooms were not too noisy even with the pub and the staff was nice and helpful (I had to call for a late check-in and they found a solution right away), good location at the center of town, overall a good value for money. The room was clean and well kept, the mattress was comfortable, the bathroom looked new.

The room was well equipped and beds were comfortable. Breakfast included was good.

The staff in the morning weren't very helpful/attentive. The coffee was instant with breakfast even though there is a good coffee machine in the bar. I would have paid for a better coffee had I been offered.
