My partner was having surgery in Musgrove Park and this hotels location was amazing, they should highlight the distance to Musgrove on their website. It was clean and tidy, couldn't complain x On the whole the room was clean but needed a wee bit of freshening up in places. Parking was amazing

There is no breakfast or food prep area. Breakfast in Tescos was great and great value for money, but an area where I could prepare a sandwich would have been welcome, especially due to the reason for my stay. Nothing fancy just maybe a shelfed area with some cutlery.

Incredibly easy check-in, effortless to get into the room absolutely no complications and 24hr support available if needs be. Perfect location situated within walking distance of the town, there's a large Tesco within the vicinity. The room itself was absolutely amazing, the cleanliness of the room was exceptional and everything from the bed to the bathroom was in perfect taste.. The premises are accessible 24 hours. The Host himself was beyond helpful, honestly doing an incredible job, super attentive and very polite, and not to mention helpful. My partner and I booked for a couple of days and look more than forward to staying again.

The property is located in the heart of the city with a quick walk away from City Center and all the local bars, dining, and tea and coffee shops. The property is professionally cleaned everyday with basic supplies for tea / coffee etc arranged every day. The bathrooms are clean and upgraded. There is a Tesco store just Hal a block away which is a great plus as they also have a coffee and breakfast place inside and that was great for morning.

There is not enough air circulation if it is hot and muggy outside. Having access to a portable fan or pedestal fans in the room could help.

Very pretty property with a good location and easy parking. Easy access arrangements and helpful and friendly owners who communicated by email / message in advance. Bathroom lovely and big, lots of hot water, and a good size TV for the room. Room large, decorated well and immaculately clean. Nice biscuits with hospitality tray.

Few slight issues. Room smelt musty on arrival and I wished I’d brought my travel candle. No one on site to greet, but this was due to family bereavement and instructions were given. X No hand-towels, only bath and one very small bath math that I struggled to stay on. Heating did not come on, but there were extra throws for bed. Mattress not the best, spring I think, and no tissues box in the room which was odd. £100 plus a night.

Free car parking, comfortable bed, quite nights sleep Location, regarding town centre and distance to lawns club, which is where we spent an evening rock n rolling. Owner kept us informed and provided the information we required for our stay.

Cold room as radiator didn’t work properly. Probably just needs bleeding. Had a fire place connected to a chimney and every time you had a gust of wind it would bellow down the chimney making quiet a noise.

The room was lovely, clean, bed was comfortable. There was plenty of tea and coffee, two chairs to sit on (we've been in double rooms where there's only one chair, which we don't understand when two people are using the room). Location was perfect for where we needed to go. Would definitely recommend, and return in the future.

There was nothing not to like. Just to advise that the shower bracket holding the shower head was cracked so couldn't raise the shower, but under the circumstances, not a problem at all.

Everything! The lodge is so beyond beautiful and well kept - it was easy to find, great location to Tesco and Lidl, also an easy 5 minute walk to the National Express bus for inbound/outbound journeys. Richard was very lovely and though I didn't get to meet him, he sent a message explaining everything and the reasoning behind not being there to check me in. The room was gorgeous - I absolutely adored it! Well set out, with the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. Thank you so much, I would love to stay again soon!

The only minor thing for me - my room was on the first floor and the stairs are very steep, so taking my suitcase up and down was a mission. However, this is minor! I managed! I understand the UK has more stairs than anything anyway :)

Beaufort Lodge was perfect for us. We were attending a cricket match and the central location meant that once we had parked the car in the on-site free space provided, we could walk everywhere over the course of the four days. The spacious room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There is currently no breakfast option, but there are many excellent early-opening cafés in the town, plus a plethora of supermarkets for Riverside picnic options.

We were at the front of the property, which can be traffic-noisy. However, this is to be expected in the centre of a busy town and would not deter us from returning.

Nice room, good size, pleasant decor. Plenty of storage available. Good security.

Nothing wrong with the accommodation, but a few small touches would make it a strong choice. There's no breakfast on offer (it looks as though they've converted the dining space into another bedroom so that's permanent). No hair towels provided. And like most places, no hair conditioner - women use it but it's never provided.

Beaufort Lodge - Taunton, Somerset TA1 4EQ Overview - owner Richard One of the most pleasant things about Beaufort Lodge is the engagement by Richard, the owner and manager of the guest house. Though the booking was made by booking g.com, Richard called me ahead of our stay and explained how everything worked and put or mind at rest answering any questions. Richard also kept me up to date via texts and though I never had a chance to meet Richard due a family bereavement, he kept in touch via text. central Taunton.
