The member of staff on reception was exceptionally helpful , welcoming and pleasant. My room was clean , surprisingly quiet and comfortable. I liked the fact that it was easy to find, ie not searching for a venue in an unfamiliar town. Guaranteed parking always a plus! Easy access to local towns also a bonus.

Had a couple of small problems : I couldn’t adjust the temperature of the shower and it was excessively hot and the tv signal was erratic. Couldn’t report anything as I left as Reception not manned in the morning. However, I still think that the hotel was excellent value for money and would definitely consider this hotel chain in future

The hotel is perfect for a stay on your journey through Taunton. It's in a service station so don't expect any views, it's exactly what you would imagine. However the staff were lovely, kind and friendly. The room while basic, was comfortable. The beds were great for a good night sleep. Nice and clean overall and there is a WHSmiths, Costa and McDonald's right next door should you need anything.

The only let down was the bathroom that could use some modernization. The shower, was adequate but the shower curtain was dingy and tried to stick to you every chance it got!! But it did the job, so no major complaints there.

Convenient, surprisingly quiet at night and zero hassle whatsoever. The receptionist Ash was brilliant with us, very friendly on our arrival after a 5 hour solid drive - so if he can read this, thanks! A good dog-friendly stay, they even provide some little dog biscuits and bowls outside. My dog is an Emotional Support Dog, so is essential for me to have when travelling.

There was restricted ventilation in the room unfortunately. It was also a warm night and as with most hotels, the windows are restricted from opening a decent enough amount for air to come in. The water came out orange in the bath for awhile, too which was a bit gross. But after 10 minutes it was running clear. When we arrived it looked as though they never really cleaned the room - there was a smelly sanitary towel in the bin alongside a used baby nappy in the bathroom - so we left the bin outside.

The Gentleman (Ash) at reception was warm and welcoming. He was kind and courteous, helping us with our Luggage. His name is ASH, and I'd say one of the best reception staff members I've ever had the pleasure to meet. The bed was just right, I slept well and would have loved to have had a second night, if I had more time. It was peaceful & quiet. Dog friendly and comfortable. We were grateful to borrow a fan. Loved the Large Mugs. Pillows were great, plenty of bath Towels and so nice to have a Shower and a cuppa. Thanks to you Ash, it made an unhappy time more bearable. The Parking was easy. We didn't use the McDonalds next door, but may in the future - as this Days inn is a hidden Gem. 10/10 Ash, Thank you for your help.

One light above the bed closest to the window needs a light bulb. The key needed some jiggling to get the door open, so may need someone to check it. 39

The room was a little dated but was spotless clean, it had towels, spare pillows, tissues, hand cleaner, shower gel & a shower over the bath with a fantastic lage shower head, Tea & Coffee making facilities. We only stayed one night as we were hospital visiting, we were greated by a young gentleman(i think was the Manager) & a young Lady called Shannon, they were both very helpful,polite, pleasant & obliging. They accommodated us with 2 easy chairs as requested & delivered them to our room for us. They are a credit to Days Inn & have always got a smile on their faces. Thank You

I liked the way the receptionist made me feel welcome with their happy to help and friendly attitude as soon as I entered the hotel, especially a gentleman called Ash, who I had the pleasure to meet on both days that I stayed. I liked the way that the staff offered to carry my bag and ensured that I stayed hydrated while in my room by giving me a bottle of water on both occasions. I commend Ash as a valued member of your front of house team and I hope he stays with the company for a long duration as he is an asset to the company. I have been a regular visitor to days inn Taunton deane over the past few years and shall continue to do so, hopefully in the years ahead.

The bath could have benefitted with a separate cold tap.

Room was ok, spacious with a double bed and a single. Bathroom was ok, no separate shower cubicle, just a shower over the bath. Beds were comfortable, but pillows very soft, however for an overnight stay it was very good. We got vouchers from reception for breakfast costing £7.50 for £10 worth of breakfast in the outlets. If the hotel had done breakfast, it would have made the stay perfect! Special thanks to Ash at reception….. what a brilliant ambassador for Days Inn!

Had a problem with the flush handle on the toilet. It was broken, but as soon as we reported it to reception, we were offered a different room, and the young man on reception even helped carry our bags to the new room. Everything was great then! Shame the hotel didn’t do breakfast…..

Ash, the guy at reception who after a very, very long, upsetting drive, gave us such a warm heart felt welcome. He helped sort out our booking. Ash was do kind and helpfully carried our bags to our room. He, Ash was the star of our stay. Thank you. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows just right. The Large Mugs were great... So Lovely to have a shower or soak in the bath, after such a long day. Lovely big rooms with Tea & Coffee... TV if required Space to hang coats, clothes... Lovely and Quiet Dog friendly

Staff were very pleasant but weren't on duty much. Basic teas & coffee but not enough for our 2 night stay. Had to ask for a top up. Beds very comfortable. Adequate facilities in room & enjoyed the fact that the fast food facilities were close by & nice. Nice & quiet for our stay. Nice TV .

Heated towel rail in bathroom didn't work . Storage heater wasn't on long enough to warm room. Towels didn't dry & didn't have room service so not sure if this is standard with a 2 night stay so we had to ask for clean towels as they were still damp on the 2nd day. No individual bedside lamps so both had to stay on!!! One of the rooms we had booked wasn't very clean .

It was clean, everyone was friendly and polite. It was much quieter than I thought it would be and we had enough space in the room. Felt like a safe space. Good value for money. Felt like we had privacy and the beds were comfortable

TV could be more up to date with ability to watch streaming sites. Obviously it's at a service station but there's nothing that can be done about that but it's better than premier inn or Travelodge. There was a problem with the bath/shower nozzle but it wasn't a big deal. Be nice if there was a little fridge.
