Great location, very central and close to the beach. We had room 26 which was very spacious and the beds were very comfy. We had a large wet room and the shower is very powerful. Breakfast was nice, good selection and buffet style so you could have as much as you want.

Car park is not very big (5 spaces) and on street parking is not always available during the day. Even with no heating on in the room, it was very warm. Couldn't leave the window open, as it was ground floor and opened directly on to the street. Fruit juices for breakfast were really bad. Certainly not fresh fruit juice and tasted very chemical.

It seemed a cosy, somewhat old fashioned B&B, possibly a bit tired in places, but had a good atmosphere. The room was clean, warm and beds comfy. The staff seemed friendly and helpful enough, especially serving breakfast in the morning. This was excellent, with a wide range of options to suit everyone, the food being fresh and wholesome!

Possibly a little attention to some details might improve customer experience, as the cold tap needed fixing as just a dribble, one of the towels, although clean, had some rather unsightly black stains, and there were some bits behind toilet seat.

We had an upgrade for free due to having no ground-floor family rooms. We ended up having an apartment across the road. Llys yr Wylan house. It was absolutely stunning, very clean, spacious, facilities great, free WiFi, comfortable beds, and great power on shower on en-suite. Would highly recommend.

Woman on front desk was quite rude, initially booked a disabled friendly family room for the 3 of us, when checking in she told me we were on top floor, i said i had booked groud floor due to my mother be disabled, she then offered me another room and said there's one flight of stairs, i showed her my booking which indicates disabled access room and her attitude was appalling as if it was my mothers fault for being disabled, she was dealing with another gentleman next to me also muttering under her breath 'her job was so stressful' i did not like her persona!! in the end, she had to give us a ground floor apartment across the road, which i don't think she was happy with.

The breakfast was brilliant and as we were travelling with our pets we were able to eat in a more general area so we didn't feel our dogs offended anyone. Our particular room was in a good place for taking our dogs out early and late without disturbing other guests.

The extra cost of £10 per pet per night we thought was fairly steep and not obvious when we booked on your website. I rang to check that they were expecting our dogs and was given the information then.

Breakfast was really nice and staff were really kind and helpful. We had problems with the heating in the room and the first night could not be sorted out but the hotel provided electrical heaters, the second night everything was perfect. The kitchen was really good and the apartment was beautiful and close to everywhere.

We booked it using booking.com and when we arrived we were given a four bed room, which was not what we had booked as it had a kitchen. We told reception and they changed the room straight away what made think if it had been on purpose or a mistake.

On the value for money front, this place was excellent value. Its now our default hotel in the town. We've stayed before, and the hotel has been further upgraded, both in the public areas and the bedrooms over the last couple of years. The room was large, modern and comfortable, and the breakfast was fine. Staff were good and the hotel is in a quiet location, but only a couple of minutes from the town centre. There are better hotels for sure, but particulary at this price point, there is nothing not to like, as the gaff offers a quality hotel at a great price.

Nothing for the price paid

The hotel is in the centre of town and so is convenient for all the local amenities. I came to Aber for my annual reunion with friends, so it was great to be so central, especially as it was a bit cold! The hotel was welcoming and warm and all the staff I met were lovely. The room was tidy and had everything I needed. I brought some stuffed animals with me, which I left in the room whilst I was out & about, and when the bed was re-made they had put them back respectfully, which I really appreciated. I wish I’d taken a photo! I only had breakfast on one day of my stay (due to not getting up in time!), but it was a good selection and the hot food was delicious. I also really enjoyed the coffee. I always try to stay in local hotels when I visit Aber, rather than big chains, and this is one I would stay at again.

I felt that the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed very well, and I would have liked sweeteners available on the tea tray. I also found the toilet paper a bit thin, but these were all quite minor niggles.

Lovely staff! Couldn't help enough! The breakfast was great, the room was perfect and the location was spot on! A stones throw for the beach and the same for the town centre! All round happy & satisfied customer! Will definitely stay here again!

The only thing I would improve was the quality of the bed! The mattress was very soft! I sleep alot better on slighter harder mattresses but otherwise everything else was perfect!

The room was amazing. Wasn’t expecting it to be so big. Check in was easy - we arrived after 9 and just went to reception and picked up our key left with instructions on the room location. Room had cooking facilities, lovely finish. Very clean. Great location. Breakfast was easy also, nice selection and staff were very friendly . Managed to park right outside also.

There wasn’t anything to not like

We have stayed at the Four Seasons on many occasions over the last 9 years and have enjoyed every one of them. The location is excellent and is just off the main sea front and the welcome is always fabulous and quick. Although the car park is a little small we have managed to wiggle into a space every time. The hotel very clean and very well run and their breakfast is amazing and plentiful. We loved the new extension the has been added to the reception area at the back of the hotel - makes a fantastic extra sitting area. Thank you so much once again - we will be back :o)
