Sam & Beth made us very welcome The location of the B&B is found down a single track, tree lined road, which opens up onto very well kept grounds The setting is tranquil with lovely views. Inside is very deceptive the rooms are spacious clean and bright. If you are looking for a peaceful quiet location with no light pollution at night then this B&B is a delight and definitely for you.

The sign for the B&B is not easily visible from the road. Perhaps the local authority will not allow anything bigger. So overall no negative comments

Breakfast was great with lots of choice and very nice poached eggs on toast with tea delivered by Sam, the owner. The room was super and clean and on the ground floor which was great for loading and unloading stuff from the car which was just outside the front door.

Really friendly staff who are living in same building. We had a very pleasent one night stay in this place. Surrounding area of this place is so beautiful and there was lot space in the room and bathroom. I would really recommend this place for everyone who wants the stay a little bit more quiet place out side of city centre.

The place is a little bit far away from centre of Aberystwyth but this was only good thing for us.

My wife and I have just spent two very nice days and nights at Plas Dolau B & B near Aberystwyth. If you want a very friendly home from home B & B run by a young couple who are most willing and helpful, then this is the place for you. It is situated in a quiet country area but only 10 minutes drive to Aberystwyth. We stayed in a twin en-suite which was on the small side but had all the amenities we needed. The twin beds were so comfortable and we both had a very good nights sleep. Above all - everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was continental but really enjoyable with a good selection of breakfast cereals, toast and jams and very nice poached eggs on toast. We have no hesitation in recommending Plas Dolau for a relaxing break and we shall certainly be returning when we can John & Ruth Stirling.

A nice house located at a (former) estate, which of course meant that we had a real driveway (Dutch: oprijlaan). The hosts are very friendly and helpful. That includes the neighbours at the other house ;-) It's really very close to Aberytswyth.

The driveway (oprijlaan in Dutch) ends at the A44, which may initially feel like a difficult place to start from. In the end the entrance to the road proved to be perfectly safe.

Stayed at this lovely B&B in the Welsh countryside. The green, tranquil surroundings were perfect for a peaceful getaway. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was delightful. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the perfect poached eggs. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

I liked the area we were in, surrounded by trees away from the main roads, the size of the property was big and spacious for us all, the complimentary items in the basket and fridge were a lovely, thoughtful addition. It was so quiet there and the dogs loved it too. Only a short drive to the beach and places to eat. The tafarn y maes was excellent food.

Lovely warm and friendly welcome from little Toby and his dad Sam the moment we stepped out of the car. My teenage daughter and I stayed in the downstairs twin, which was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The en-suite was suitable for my accessibility needs, with handrail and a seat in the shower, and a rail next to the toilet. There was a variety of options at breakfast - cereal, toast with preserves, fruit, yoghurt, orange juice, tea, coffee, croissants and poached eggs. All in all, a pleasant and relaxing stay, and we would definitely book there again. Thank you!

Sam and Beth, our hosts, were extremely friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much for them. The accommodation was most satisfactory, and the setting was almost rural and very peaceful .
