Arrived on very hot day to find windows open, so room not stifling! comfy bed, good shower, just enough space for clothes, toiletries, etc., good cooked breakfast (no price reduction for skipping the cooked plateful), lovely quiet location on the eastern edge of the village, not overlooked, Sian very welcoming and helpful
Car satnav couldn't find it, but Google maps did! The name 'Garth Road' doesn't appear on the map, nor on the ground - turn right before the BP station & look for 'Dafydd ap Gwilym' with a left turn arrow by the Community Hall. Continental breakfast was perfectly adequate, but not special - it's Wales, not France, so I didn't expect croissants - I had hoped for a Welsh speciality - Welsh cakes or Bara Brith perhaps?

Shan, our host was lovely! She was so friendly and helpful, and great at giving the best directions to places we wanted to visit. Our room was spotlessly clean, the tea and coffee facilities very well stocked, and the view from our window over the back of the property was beautiful. We enjoyed seeing the horses in the fields and even a red kite fly past our window a couple of times. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean and well stocked with all the toiletries we needed. Parking was easy, right in front of the property. The breakfast was fantastic! Plenty of choice, and freshly cooked. There was also along next to the breakfast room for guests to use, which was another lovely touch. Overall, we couldn't fault our stay at Bro Dafydd, and Shan's wonderful welcome, making us feel so 'ay home'. Bro Dafydd is situated a few miles outside of Aberystwyth, and very easy to find. It is extremely well placed for visiting both Aberystwyth and surrounding places of attraction, as well as being an excellent stop-off for travelling further North. Most definitely want to stay with Shan at Bro Dafydd again, and already planning for when we can visit again.
Nothing.

11 out of 10 stars. Absolutely loved my stay. Room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was well equipped and clean as well. I was visiting the area to attend a Rally Championship event, which meant that I had to leave the property each day very early (6am) which was too early to attend the breakfast which is served between 8-9am. But Shan (the host) offered to make us pack lunches each day. Which was delicious and much appreciated. I would definitely recommend.
Nothing. All was great or exciding my expectations. Great host, easy to communicate and prompt answers to all my answers before my stay.

We loved the hospitality we received from Shan and Phil during our stay. Shan is very friendly and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We loved staying at Bro Dafydd - it is in a lovely peaceful village and our room had a beautiful view of the fields with horses and sheep. The surrounding area is very quiet. The room was cosy and very clean. It has a good sized bathroom. The cooked breakfast was delicious and there is more than enough food to set you up for the day.
Unfortunately we didn't have a car and the transport options from the village are limited to a few buses a day. It would be perfect with a car though.

The main room is a good size, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is also well proportioned with a walk-in shower. There was a generous helping of tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. The heating is almost instant, and the room was plenty warm enough. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice, including a vegetarian option. The owner went out of her way to help us.
There was nothing to dislike.

The property was easy to find and only a 10 min drive to aber uni which is where we were visiting. The room was lovely amazing views and a good size . Bed was really comfy and nice and big . Perfect when sharing with my 6ft 1 teen. Shan the owner was fantastic couldn’t be more helpful with info ect. She also cooked a lovely big breakfast. I’d definitely stay again . X
No downsides at all , only wish we could of stayed longer and would of liked to fluff the beautiful puppy lol xx

Property is in the middle of nowhere, if your sat nav takes you over the mountain pass! Bedroom was fine. Shower was lovely and easy to use, although the floor was a bit slippy. Breakfast was good. Communication was prompt and easy. Shan was friendly and very helpful.
The location was more remote than expected, but certainly quiet and peaceful.

The location was scenic and tranquil. We had a large comfortable room with a lovely view of the hills. Everything was spotlessly clean. Plenty of parking spaces at the front. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Sian, the proprietor, was very friendly and welcoming.
We have nothing negative to say about our stay. We would be very happy to visit again in the future.

Lovely welcome. Room and bed comfortable. Ideally located and the room viewed onto farm land where horses and sheep were active. About 3.5 miles from Aberystwyth. Breakfast freshly prepared and catered for my wife and another guest who were both coeliacs.
My wife failed to locate a hairdryer but did bring her own.

The B&B was lovely and we enjoyed watching the Red Kites circling the nearby fields. Shan, our hostess was very friendly and helpful..... she had lots of local information for us. Excellent breakfast, easy parking right outside. Situated in a lovely friendly village. .
Nothing...... except watch out for Google Maps sending you through very narrow lanes....we would advise sticking to the main roads!!
