A breathtaking view from the top of the hill to wake up to, although it's a windy way up! The facilities were clean, and the room had great built-in closets and seating areas. The bar was open and relaxing! Breakfast offerings were delightful, including unique jams!

The bed was two twins together, and the pillow situation could be improved. While breakfast was delightful, I got there at the tail end and much was gone. Get there a little earlier for the best selection.

A very peaceful, well located hotel with a spectacular view of the nearby dam from the little terrace of our room . Rooms are very spacious and comfortable , parking and checkin /checkout very easy and the grounds and walkways around the hotel are both beautiful and tranquil. An ideal hotel for a relaxing and restoring break.

Only the breakfast coffee which was horrible but this seems to be the case with most hotels currently . The rest of the breakfast was very good.

Location is great for anyone who wants to trail walk or go for a swim in the lake. Nice views from the room balconies and the restaurant. Very friendly staff.

The whole site has potential, but could do with some investment. The spa/gym space has a nice dedicated building with views, and located by the pool, but the building itself lacked ventilation (with the gym smelling damp) and the equipment was not fit for purpose. I could only give the breakfast a 6 out of 10, although the view over the lake was amazing.

The view is amazing! Beautiful views over Zêzere, with plenty of quiet and nature around. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and contributed to some lovely days. The double bed room with river view is nice and spacious, the bed is very comfortable! Breakfast was also really nice, has many options (even soy milk).

Perhaps some details could be improved, such as the gym machines available, or the snooker table. Perhaps because the hotel is already a few years old, you can see that these are details that have not been improved over time and have clear signs of a lot of use. But you can still use them, and other than that, the hotel is lovely. Recommend!

The location is superb, the pool is lovely and clean. The breakfast was great. Pedro at the Reception and Carlos from the restaurant were excellent! The food was delicious.

The room needs work: toilets seats are worn out, drains smell, curtains in the shower have mould. The coffee machine at the breakfast is poor- perhaps it needs filters clean. Rooms had only 3 hangers per room, and no ironing board available request: Reception team did their best to find one for us.

The location was fabulous. We booked the basic room which was clean and adequate for our two night stay. The staff were really friendly. The breakfast was okay but there were a few things which they could of improved upon.

The coffee and tea machine in the breakfast area was in need of an overhaul. It was so slow, there was always a queue, and the toaster wasn’t a lot better. Although the food was good.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious, well designed, and with high-quality furnishings. Ample terrace with a great view overlooking the lake, wrapping two sides of the sitting room. There was a smaller balcony from the bedroom as well. The breakfast was also very good. The front desk person who checked us in was very polite and helpful.

The room was spacious with a lovely view. I unfortunately injured my back before we arrived and the waiter in the restaurant showed great kindness. Reception staff also managed to keep our room for us for an extra day despite hosting a large function.

We came to this hotel due to the good reviews and the stunning location and magnificent view of the lake. The staff were really friendly. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good even though a little disjointed with its layout. We would definitely come here again.

This isn’t a really a dislike, but would of liked coffee and tea making facilities in the room.

Great location. Good breakfast but could have done with some tomoato or cucumber .

No chairs to sit on on the deck outside our room.
