Superb location. Very quiet and private.

There should be a way to open the window more than just a crack so you can get that beautiful cool Iceland air into your hot hotel room that smells like someone just took a shower a few hours ago. Just sayin.

It's a lovely small hotel, with the nicest receptionists. We arrived late and the receptionists are very helpful and provide all the help we need.

I only stayed here for one night before a very early flight but it was great accommodation. Very clean, great facilities (shower was excellent!!!) and very close to the airport. I used a taxi service through the hotel which was so easy to do and the hosts left very detailed instructions! Would stay here again!

The only thing I would change is the check-in process - it’s fine to have to self-check in and that was very easy, I just would have liked our names and room numbers to not be on display for other guests to see, I know there would be no issues but maybe just for privacy, especially if you were like me and were traveling by yourself! Other than that it was a really wonderful stay!

The room was small, but not tiny. It had a desk and a wardrobe - just fine for a one night stay before heading to airport early in the morning. There was space enough to unpack andreorganize my suitcase. The bed was comfy and the water pressure in shower great. No bells and whistles, just the basics and a clean comfortable place to stay. Easy to find, nice that ample parking available.

While probably in line with Iceland, still seemed quite pricey for one night and no staff on site and no breakfast included. I paid just a bit more in nearby Kopavagur for a very nice hotel with an amazing breakfast. One fleeting staff member I did catch and ask for a food reccommendation, she had only one place to offer.

Out of the four places I stayed at during my Iceland trip, I had the least expectations about Hotel Jazz due to the average Booking.com score, so I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived and found a nicely decorated hotel, and a squeaky clean room with seaview. The bed was very comfortable and I had the best sleep of my trip. The staff is very friendly and happy to help with any request. I found the room a little too warm, and the receptionist kindly turned down the underfloor heating. The location is ideal for the airport, as it's just a 10-minute drive away. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip to Iceland.

Nothing at all, don't be put off by the brown throws on the beds, as I was, it's a really nice and comfortable stay.

Easy and quick check in and check out, enough parking spots, pleasant room with a comfortable bed, spatious shower and amazing breakfast available from 4am. The location of the hotel is also great with it being only 10-15 minutes from the airport.

The only minor issue is that the windows are quite old and not well sealed, so cold air gets inside.

Loved its proximity to the airport but not being a drab airport hotel. It's super cute and near a strip of cute shops, a bar and 24 hour store. We were just there for a24-hour layover so no time to explore much and enjoy breakfast and interact with staff - so can't report much on that - but staff responded quickly to question I emailed through Booking.com app. This is self-check-in but upon arriving - they provide a lot of helpful information and a way to reach someone if needed. I would definitely stay here again!

When I had a question before booking I tried calling a few times, but couldn't reach anyone. I also tried emailing via the regular email address and no response. But via the app I got a super quick response.

A phone provided at reception for ordering taxi for airport. This arrived at the time booked . Room was bigger than expected, and was comfortable. We were able to leave our bags at reception at 10am, well before 4pm check-in time (though not easy to establish this.) Short walk to the shore, footpath and info boards were interesting.

A negative review of the hotel said unmanned reception, and entry code needed to open the door, then door keys left on reception desk. This concerned us as we wanted to leave our bags in the morning and we didn't have the door code. Tried calling the hotel, got no reply. (Called booking.com who managed eventually to get through to the hotel, gave us the code and confirmed we could leave our bags in the morning.)
