The staff were lovely, beds comfortable. Easy parking in summer and a good central point to walks.The deck with a bottle of wine in the afternoon sun after a long walk from Guthega to Charlottes Pass was sensational. You can get lunch packs for $20 but they have to be ordered from the bar by 5 pm the day before. Fish, chips and salad filled the spot after walking. Staff rang during the afternoon to find out whether you would be joining them for dinner.

The rooms are smallish with bed only. There is a common room on level 2 with a tv and microwave.

Location was excellent for our hike of Mt Kosciuszko. The restaurant was the only place open but provided sufficient variety and quality that we didn't get bored with the menu when staying for 2 nights.

The whole place smelt a bit weird. The rooms were run down, our room didn't have towels or a bath mat, so we took them from the adjoining room using the internal door which was left open.they used long life milk and kept forgetting to put sugar in our coffee.

We have been staying at Stillwell Hotel when it was called Stillwell Lodge and has not changed much over the years only for a new colour scheme being painted all white and vibrant colours.To compare it with a hotel stay it is very inadequate having no fridge or tv appliances in our room only a kettle and limited tea and coffee but no coffee mugs.The bathroom needed a major upgrade ( oh yes again all painted white over the existing tiles ) How can you say it’s a hotel when clearly it’s still a lodge accommodation and charging the price we paid.just for a room.

The availability of car parking for the hotel is very limited.There was no place to put your soap in the shower as there was no soap holder or shelf. The room was very hot when we checked in and the window we couldn’t open , then at night when the temperature dropped you could feel the cold air coming through the seals of the window.

Recently stayed at the Stillwell Hotel for 3 nights. We found it to be clean and the staff friendly and accommodating and very helpful. It's the perfect location for doing the Alpine walks. The food was OK,we paid what we thought was reasonable for a meal considering the isolated location. Something for everyone on the menu. Found the overall price was good value. I would recommend the Stillwell.

Very clean. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The location is excellent - 20 min walk from the start of the Kosciuszko summit trail. Tasty food. Tasty wine! And such a pretty view to look out on to. I will definitely stay here again. Great value for money.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable for me, my back hurt when I woke up. That is my only complaint.

Loved being on snow even though the village wasn’t covered like normal. Staff were great, comfy hotel, good food & drinks

-Beds are not comfy -the windows are really old & need changing & all the heat was let out & wind blowing through sides of doors & windows . -our heater didn’t work -spa was broken, - only 1 lift working but still charged full price -safe not working

Great place. The staff was very friendly. Good food on offer. No surprises. We had a beautiful stay.

I think the hotel needs double or triple glazing in its windows. It was very chilly and windy sleeping next to the windows. Not sure how it works in the winter but probably the heating must go full on to keep rooms warm. Also, a bit weird to have a power socket right behind the head in bed. Never seen that before.

Nice staff. ....everything you need. Great shower, clean. Good internet too. Best hot chips I've had in a long time.

Some outdoor furniture rickety...but it does live in extreme weather. Needs some tlc. And maybe a smart tv in foyer as no tv in rooms...we wanted to tether phone and watch footy on big t.v. however internet is good so watched on ipad. No big deal.

Had a great comfortable time in stillwill hotel, but in general had a great time across charlotte's pass. Staff were all friendly. Clean room, and bed. Large enough to spread out my gear etc.

None of my lessons were booked correctly by the stillwell staff (have email and phone confirmation that stillwell staff added the charges to my card, - but none were booked into guest services).
