The condo we stayed was 258 which has 2 bedrooms. Everything was clean. The bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen were fully equipped. A lot of pillows 😆. Good location, 5 mins drive to public beach due to resort's the stairs leading to the beach was destroyed by Helene hurricane. The beach was not crowded. 9 mins drive to Georgia Sea Turtle Center and Horton Pond is across the street. I didn't mind about the dated furniture but the thing I wish the owner could improve is the TV system. They have old system with cable and access to Youtube, Netflix...but they were so slow. There were a few restaurant around the island, some of their foods were too salty for our preference.

Quiet and peaceful. The room was very nice. we enjoyed everything about the location except the beach access. It is near Driftwood Beach, which is really neat to see.

Beach erosion has caused them to stabilize the beach with large boulders placed along the high tide elevation for most of the northern end of the island. it is difficult to get on the beach and it is only accessible at low tide. the walk ways are out of commission due to hurricane damage six months ago and still hasn’t been repaired so forget spending much time on the beach.

The ocean view room was spacious and inviting, The kitchen was fully equipped to store and prepare food. It was well decorated and the location was steps away from driftwood beach. The sunrises were amazing! The property was very clean. The property had a pool and a playground for my children. The restaurant had very good food, but was pricey.

The pool was not heated and the restaurant did not serve breakfast.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay from check-in to checkout. Staff was very welcoming. Villa was extremely clean, spacious, and had a fantastic view of the Atlantic from both floors. Was equipped with everything we needed. Gym facility was definitely decent enough for a workout when ok vacation. Some units accept pets for a fee. Villas are the northernmost accommodations on the island, and it is a very peaceful, quiet area adjacent to Driftwood Beach. Very affordable option considering you are getting much more than a hotel room. Will absolutely stay at Villas By The Sea again!

Everything was more than I had expected! No complaints.

The property was beautiful! We were just steps away from a beautiful beach with a little pavilion and boardwalk to sit on and listen to the waves. It was too cold to actually go to the beach like we usually would and hangout for hours, but we enjoyed walks and having that access whenever we wanted to hear the ocean. The grounds were very well maintained and we were very impressed. The location was also amazing, as we were pretty much an equal distance from everything on the island. The staff was very helpful and our little one bedroom suite was so cute! Since these are actually owned by other people, it was decorated very nicely and had a homey feel to it. The unit was equipped with everything we needed to cook, clean up before we left, and relax. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are on Jekyll!

Nothing. I loved everything about it! I wish I could give the owner of the condo a personal thank you for letting us stay! So if whoever owns unit #426 sees this, we wanted to extend our gratitude for the perfect stay!

It was nice and well maintained

I thought it was beach front and didn’t realize you couldn’t walk out on the beach when the tide was high. ☹️. The villa was covered in flying ants!

The location was perfect for us-other family members were at the campground-minutes away. The quick response to our air conditioner not working. They immediately sent technician then, moved us when he didn't fix it. Room 433-air not working. The quick move when I personally could not handle the stairs after my surgery-they immediately moved us downstairs.

Everything was wonderful-I couldn't figure out the coffee situation-two bags for how many cups? Not explained!

The location was perfect! Being at the opposite end of the island meant that it would be quiet, which is what I wanted, but all of the action was still close enough that I could easily ride my bike to everything via the Jekyll Island Trail. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the room (301). Everything was clean and felt fresh. Thank you to the housekeeping staff and to the front desk folks for doing such a great job! Our television did not work when we checked in, and the front desk did a fantastic job of ensuring maintenance would be over to take care of it, and he was fast! Everyone did a wonderful job and we made our dinner reservation on time. Thank you!

The only thing that I can think of, is the shower head in the unit really needs to be replaced. The water mostly spills outward and not really on to you. It makes it through the shower curtain and onto the floor, which isn't good for anyone. .

We were close to the beach access, so it was easy to go down to the beach. (If steps are not a problem for you) The sleeping and cooking arrangements were very nice. The view from the master bedroom was amazing.

Their check-in policy. There seem to be no exceptions to checking in at 4. I even requested an early check-in. Our friends from NYS were meeting us, and we all arrived at about 2 pm. We not only had to wait, but our room wasn't ready until after 5. There was a dirty towel behind the bedroom door. Otherwise, it was clean.

We were in an ocean front Villa. It’s wonderful to wake up to dolphins playing and pelicans gliding right outside the window. The two floor condo gave us plenty of room to be comfortable.

Lots of steep stairs! This was on the second floor and there’s more steep stairs to get to the top floor. It was a challenge to get moved in. This is one of those buildings where you can hear every sound from your next door neighbors. They woke us up a couple of times when they came in late.
