Thank you very much uncle Chai for accommodating us. We are very happy with the way you treated us. You are very kind and the essence of our stay was to feel at home. The room was clean and cool, the bathroom was also clean and there was free shampoo and soap when taking a shower and we really felt like we were at home. We are very grateful to you uncle Chai and Sip N' Camp for your kindness to us and the free coffee, ice bubble tea and bread every morning. Sip N' Camp is also close to attractions and walking distance such as China town, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Pier, Market, Ong Ang Canal,Talad Noi, Little India and many other tourist attractions nearby. I highly recommended the Sip N' Camp to all tourists who want to go to nearby attractions here in Thailand. Its 10/10 for us.

Sip N Camp is perfectly located in the center of the hustling and bustling Bangkok , 10 to 15 min walking distance of tourist attractions , China Town , wholesale markets , Chao Phraya River. It is a very quiet place on a wide road adjacent to CHAKRAWAT POLCE STATION. Big size room and comfortable beds ,attached with kitchen having all necessary appliances e.g. fridge , hot plate , microwave , toaster ,kettle and utensils . The room has air conditioning and a fan. owner Mr Chai is very friendly , humble , cooperative and very attentive , on every quarry he responds very quickly , during the stay he provided complimentary coffee and water bottles. The price quality ratio was superb. In future again I will like to stay .

Chai is a very friendly and excellent host who is always happy to help. He has everything you need on hand and is very responsive if you contact with a question. Chai makes excellent coffee too and is great and giving recommendations for Bangkok. We stayed in the private room which was very comfortable, clean and cosy. The amenities are great with a small fridge, microwave, kettle and a free washer and dryer available too. The location is great as well and we managed to get everywhere we needed to very easily. Definitely would recommend this place as it is very good value for money.

Appreciated our host so much, he gave great recommendations on places to go and things to see, shared access to the facilities (washer/dryer) and allowed access to water snacks he had on property (as he runs a coffee shop out of the same building). The a/c runs great and while the rooms are not huge they were a great value and provided everything we needed. I would absolutely stay again and recommend anyone looking for good value and a comfortable home do so as well!

Not much. At this price it exceeded expectations. If I am being picky our room was up a few flights of stairs to the bathroom so made nightime visits a slight effort!

The facilities are great. Drinking water is provided in bottles and you have an extra small, little kitchen with all utilities. Chai, the owner, is a gem! He has his own little coffee shop on the other side of the street with the best coffee in town. He really made us feel welcome and at home. It’s not your ordinary ‘private room hostel’ because it’s in the attic of an old shop. But that truly adds to it. And with the great working AC it feels like something much more than just a private room.

Chai, the host, was so friendly and helpful. Our favourite person that we met whilst in Thailand. He did everything he could to make our short time in Bangkok comfortable and enjoyable. There was free water and coffee making facilities which we were really grateful for in the heat. Plus, Chai’s iced Thai coffee which he sells in the coffee shop below the rooms is delicious. Hot showers were available with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. We had the top room which was warm as a result of it being summer however it had both air con and a fan that cooled the room down. The location was really good with us able to walk to lots of main attractions but without it feeling too busy. Great value for money.

Mattresses could have been a little thicker but we still managed a good night’s sleep.

Good location. Settings are super user-oriented. They have everything you might need, including a small pantry area with utensils and microwave. Free water bottles that you can take many as you need.

The water output is sometimes unstable, such as it suddenly becomes strong while you are washing and then stops for a bit. But overall it does not cause much inconvinience at all.

This place has everything you need. Shampoos, hair dryer, washing machine, dryer, plug-in mosquito repeller, even slippers for the shower and of course internet connection. The hostel is really close to Chinatown. The boat that takes you to the famous temples is just a five min walk away. The entry is a sweet cafe, where you can drink tea and coffee. Also, Chai is the best host I have ever seen! He was so kind, that he came in on a Sunday, even though he didn't have to, because my husband was feeling a little sick and I texted to learn how I could make some tea. He is the sweetest person. Definitely recommend. If you go, try his Thai tea, it was delicious.

We reserved a Family Room for a one-night stay to accommodate our family of four. This hotel is a hidden gem in Bangkok, centrally located near several prominent tourist destinations, including Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha), Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), Wat Traimit (Golden Buddha), Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (Wat Leng Noei Yi), the Grand Palace, Ong Ang Canal, and Chinatown Market. Conveniently, there's also easy access to nearby piers. For dining options, Chakkraphet Road offers excellent Indian restaurants like Punjab Restaurant and Zafran Eatery, along with the convenience of a nearby 7-Eleven. We would like to highlight the exceptional hospitality of the owner, Mr. Chai. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, imparting a true sense of hospitality. The hotel generously provides complimentary unlimited water bottles and various refreshments, including snacks, tea, coffee, and more throughout your stay. To fellow budget travelers, we highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and amenities.

The only downside we found was the hotel's limited recognition among travelers. We hope that through this review, more people will discover and explore this hidden gem.

The owner was so helpful ! The area is great ! We were scared that it would be loud because the road was close but the room gave to the other side and it was quiet. Worth every penny. Good coffee ☕

The bathroom was far away. We knew about not having it in our room but had to go down 2 flights of stairs. If you've had a couple and have an urge beware the steep stairs haha. Also we like futon beds but I know it's not everybody's cup of tea, they're on the hard side.
