AMAZING HOSTESS! Very kind, responds fast, brought us homemade cake and did everything with a passion. City is closeby. You receive a map and a list of good restaurants; we tried them and we fell in love. Terrace on the roof is very relaxed in the late afternoon.

Only thing we could come up with, just to make the review seem believable: the toilet is not connected to the bedroom. So you have to walk through the hallway to get there. No big point to us, but just so you know.

Dany baked wonderful Morning Glory muffins and other delicious cakes for us each morning. The room was large which was good for us because we had a German Shepherd dog, who was very comfortable in the room. Dany even provided a bowl with water for our dog on arrival. The extra fee for the dog was also super reasonable at 12€ for the entire 4 night stay. We would definitely stay there again.

An elevator would have been nice at times, but it's only three flights of stairs. There is a shower and sink ensuite, but the toilet is a few steps away in the hallway, a bit inconvenient in the middle of the night.

First of all, Dany, the owner, is an awesome host. She was careful to provide us with a lot of useful info and to show us around (the terrace, the little balcony, etc). She has a smart sense of humor. The location was perfect for us. Udine has everything within walking distance, anyway.

The squeaky room door should be a little more quiet. :) The private bathroom did not have a toilet inside. The toilet was accessible from the hallway.

Tutto cerà bellossimo - grazie tante a Dany Colak! She was extremly nicht and friendly and the view from the teracce is beautiful. The terasse itself is quiet big and very comfortable - we enjoyed staying there for breakfast! The room and the bathroom (even if it is very small) are also beautiful, with the old walls. Just a little thing which was not perfect, and disturbed me while falling asleep is, that there sometimes was an annoying noise (i can not realy tell where it came from) like water rinns down a wall. Apart from that everything was realy beautiful and we enjoyed our stay a lot!!! Also the home made breakfast - grazie mille!

The strange noise like runnning water. An espresso would have been perfekt for breakfast, but there was tea and another coffe machine to use for free.

Deni is a wonderful hostess! I have travelled quite often but this is the first time I have met such a warm welcome! She was very caring, responded quickly to messages and also treated us to her culinary masterpieces, the sweets were delicious and unexpectedly satisfying. Udine is a beautiful city and the flat allows you to immerse yourself in that atmosphere! Everything is clean and very cosy! A gorgeous open roof with a stunning view, lots of plants, vintage things in the interior did not leave us indifferent. We did not find any minuses, next time I will stay only here!

I don't want to leave ❤️

Where to start 😄 Dany was an absolutely amazing hostess (not only did she serve us cold lemonade, water, wine, and served us cakes, but she also told us exactly what to see in Udine to have the best time) and the room was absolutely stunning. A huge added bonus was a lovely terrace on the roof of the building and the close proximity to the city center + Netflix for anyone who isn’t keen on watching Italian channels ☺️

The only real negative was that there were no screens to keep out mosquitoes and other bugs if you wanted fresh air during the night. But apart from that, I can’t say anything negative and if we got to Udine again (hopefully), I won’t want to stay anywhere else.

An excellent location - close to the city centre with lots of restaurants but also closer to the bus and train stations. We stayed 7 nights exploring the area by public transport and it worked very well. Dany was a perfect host welcoming us with a glass of wine and nibbles on the balcony. She provided a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs/ omelette, yogurt and fruits and her own homemade cakes and bread all served on the roof terrace. Nothing was too much trouble for her! We stayed in the triple room overlooking the courtyard and it was very quiet and we slept well. There was a kettle and tea and coffee in the corridor for making your own drinks at anytime. The whole place had a wonderful ambiance and we would highly recommend it.

Dana - the host - is a truly lovely person, that will answer all your questions, give you some where-to-go tips and make everything to make your stay excellent. The apartment is located close to the city center, there is no a dedicated parking spot, but this is not a problem - there's plenty of free parking places along the street, we were able to park just in front of the entrance doors to the building. The room is equiped in everything you need, A/C is there as well - thanks to this we survived when outside was 30+ Celcius. There is a nice terrace available for guests.

Entrance to the toilet is separate in the corridor - it's just a small inconvinience as it is not covered by the room's A/C.

Very friendly owner. Location is in walking distance to all important points of interest. Very clean bedrooms and bathroom.

Unfortunately, it's in the third floor without an elevator. For us not a problem, but might not be something for everyone. Roads a very loud in Udine or actually in all major Italian cities. Heating in the winter in this apartment is not straightforward and the oven is a little bit loud.

Dani was definitely the best host we've had so far. Everything went smoothly and communication with her was perfect. She baked us a small cake as a welcome gift, prepared coffee and refreshments, which was really awesome. In the morning, coffee was waiting for us on the roof terrace and she was so heartwarming. Rooms as they are are stylish and historic, the building is over 130 years old. Don't get me wrong it's really comfy, however due to the age it might get a little bit noisy from outside at times. Otherwise everything was excellent!

Noise from the street was at moments overwhelming, but it's nothing unusual.
