I enjoyed the environmental consciousness of the site, along with the beautifully arranged rooms and the gorgeous common spaces. The included breakfast each morning was some how even better than the one before. I also enjoyed the connections with the local restaurants, to make enjoy dinner easy peasy. The owners of the property were super helpful, always available and really kind.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the property. One thing I would mention is that it would be good to include in the booking page, that the rooms only include European outlets, rather than UK outlets. I would have brought different chargers if I knew that. But they provide adapters in the room for international travellers, so it wasn’t that big of an issue.

Small size of this boutique hotel is a great advantage of the place, only 8 ‘rooms’/ houses so it’s never too crowded around the pool, which is great! The owner- Antoine is very kind and helpful, every day he took time to ask about your plans and give you advices. Other members of the staff were always very kind too! Location of the hotel is great (it’s calm) if you have your own vehicle/ driver.

Even though the breakfast seemed exciting the first day, the limited menu gets repetitive after few days. Rooms although stylish, have very little space for putting your clothes, during a longer stay like ours we had to leave our things in the luggages- not great. Secondly the bathroom is in the same space as the bedroom, there is only blinds with which you can gain some privacy.

We spent our honeymoon in November 24 at the Good Life Eco Lodges and really loved the peace and seclution. After arriving, we had a very warm welcome by the owner Antoine. He was very helpful during the whole trip and gave us a lot of good advices and contacts, to make sure, that we have a pleasant stay. Also the staff was very nice and accommodating. Especially Kavita spoiled us everyday - thank you so much for that! The breakfast and food was outstanding and one of the reasons, why we chose the accommodation in the first place. We absolutely recommend the Good Life Lodges, if you are looking for a stay away from the tourist crowds!

One thing to consider if you want to visit the whole island: the Good Life Eco Lodges is the perfect place to stay to explore the northern part of the island. But if you want to see a lot in the south, you need to drive a lot. So its better to split up the vacation time and have an accommodation in the south too, to reduce your travel time to all the wonders of the island.

Healthy breakfast, nice pool, nice hosts, confy bed.

Due to the aircon eco policy the bed sheets and in general all the textiles had bit of unpleasant smell (like clothes not properly dried).

We stayed at The Good Life Eco Lodge during our honeymoon. The staff were brilliant at welcoming us and explaining the local area. Our room was a good size and very clean. The TV had Netflix which meant we could login and watch TV in bed. The water pressure was good. The pool was lovely, especially next to the natural flora and fauna. The food was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. As a vegan, there were 2 options (pancakes or avocado toast) which was great, but would have got repetitive if we had stayed longer. I would have loved a plant-based smoothie/acai bowl. We visited the nearby Lux hotel for dinner which we'd highly recommend. We hired a driver to explore the island which was brilliant and hired bikes from The Good Life. A beautiful place to stay which prioritises health and sustainability which was really important to us.

Great taste of Northern Mauritius, lovely family run vegetarian friendly establishment. The centre piece is a swimming pool worthy of 5 star resorts. It's a really peaceful and relaxing place to chill out. Every little detail is well thought out, including water bottles to reduce plastic waste. In short driving distance there are good beach and local food. Just wish to stay little bit longer...

Proximity of road but while there is a traffic noise it's down at night and nothing ear plugs won't fix. On positive side that means easy and instant road access

Antoine and Estelle, and their lovely staff made us feel welcome from the first day. We booked the Pool Villa and it was truly an oasis of relaxation. The Villa is perfectly equipped and beautifully decorated to feel like a real home. The highlight for us was the beautiful garden with the private Pool. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well. This was by far our best accommodation in Mautirius and we can highly recommend the Good Life.

Small hotel in a beautiful tropical garden with flamboyant trees, palm trees and bananas. Tastefully decorated rooms. Outstandingly friendly hosts and staff. Very personal and private atmospere. Naturally filtered, chlorine-free pool with four twin sunbeds available for only eight rooms at all. Great breakfast, served à la carte with choices from English to healthy, each accompanied by a fresh fruit plate and fresh juices with fruits from their own garden.

Nothing to criticize, but you should be aware that your possibilities in walking distance are limited. The town center offers some small restaurants and food trucks, but only for lunch. Beautiful beaches in the neighborhood can only be reached by car, too.

Lodges are nicely decorated and equipped with basically everything you need (from umbrella to mosquito cream, and a great bonus - yoga mat and hammock). Relaxing pool area with lovely pool, where you can enjoy swimming admiring beautiful dragonflys. The atmosfere is really pleasant. Gorgeos garden, delicious breakfast, kind and always smiling personnel. The hosts are amazing, really professional, you can see how they manage The good life with passion. We appreciated all the recommendations and suggestions how to spend the day exploring this beutiful island! Would be happy to return anytime.

Beautiful place! Very carefully arranged enterior and exterior, they’ve been thinking about every small detail. Breakfast is delicious! Staff is amazing, they really made our stay! Location is perfect, the most popular beaches are close by , plus north is always sunny, so its perfect choise if you are looking for the great summertime.

Just the fact that we couldnt stay longer :)
