The location of the property felt safe and the hotel itself was nice and very modern! I arrived very late to check in, almost midnight on the date of my booking, and the staff was very nice during check in and even validated my parking in the garage that they own behind the property. Our room was very clean upon arrival which is super important to me. This is a random positive, but there were lots of plug-ins for chargers and plenty of lamps/light sources scattered around the room. The room was spacious with a generously sized bathroom! A family member of mine was having a procedure at St. Mary’s, the reason for my stay, and the hospital was located only a few minutes down the road, so that was very convenient!

The price per night for a king room comes to about $150 including taxes & fees, which can seem a little pricey, but considering the validated parking and the quality of the property, that’s to be expected. I have very little, if any, negative things to say about Delta Hotels by Marriott in Huntington! :)

This hotel did not disappoint. I reserved our room and checked us in online the day before our arrival. Each of those transactions was simple and efficient. My husband and our two teen boys enjoyed the ample size of the suite as there was plenty of room for us all. We did not try the breakfast, but we did get some of the excellent coffee. The suite was super clean upon arrival and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The room attendants were always busy keeping the rooms tidy, making beds and replacing used towels and such. I loved the room darkening shade, we slept til almost 9 a.m. not realizing what a beautiful sunny day it was until we looked outside. There was a T.V. in the bedroom and also in the sitting area with the pull-out couch. We utilized the mini-fridge in the room and it worked as expected. There was plenty of drawer space, shelves and an area to hang clothes. The hotel was very clean and the staff was more than accommodating and friendly. We visited the bar in the lobby a couple of times and the bartender was very nice, drinks were cold and refreshing. The location is within walking distance to dining and shopping and there's so much to see. Every restaurant that we tried had great food and drinks. Check-out was as simple as reserving the room. The front desk clerk asked if I'd like an emailed receipt and that worked well for me. We dropped off the room keys and were done.

Some may think the swimming pool is small, but was big enough and not overly crowded. It is indoors, heated and I think 5.5 feet is the greatest depth. Great for smaller children and keeping them close. There were so many great qualities about staying here that it didn't bother me. This is not a complaint just an observation. I think the teenagers were wishing it was bigger.

Location was great and staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable.

The only thing was parking was limited. But I k ow it was a busy time with the activities going on at the Marshall arena. I found a place at the back and I didn’t move my car. But we could walk to the Arena and there was a good variety of places to eat Within walking distance. We really like Luigi’s.

I loved the clean and spacious room! Thoughtfully laid out, the room had lots of storage that allowed me to actually unpack and not live out of my suitcase for days. Also...the BLACKOUT CURTAIN IS EVERYTHING! Even on the sunniest day, pulling that bad boy down made it seem like midnight! All my midday naps were glorious. The staff were great and helpful! Kindness wasn't on short supply. I was also within walking distance to all the fun of downtown! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Herd Country.

I have no complaints. I truly enjoyed my stay!

The breakfast buffet fruit was fresh and delicious. I had yogurt, so didn't try the hot items on the buffet, but they had lots to choose from. My room was clean and was serviced while I was out the 2nd day, which was unexpected and so nice. The bar is such a nice way to end the day too-nice staff, surroundings and cold beer :) I had to park in the garage at one point and the hotel validated my ticket. This is the only hotel I will stay at when I come to visit my grandchildren, I love it here! I've been staying here at least once a year for the last 5 years.

The price is more expensive during summer months, so I delayed my stay until fall when the price went down.

I wasn't there for the breakfast as I had to leave early to return back to Elkins but upon checking in, I was greeted by a pleasant person who took very good care of me and telling me about when the room would be ready and all the information parking meals etc. She goes by Sam (Samantha) she is to be commended as to her professionalism and people skills and to her politeness .

The Delta Downtown is always lovely. Super friendly and helpful staff, beautiful clean comfortable rooms. I had a few itinerary complications and they helped me extend my stay and even let me stay in the same room. When I forgot my charger and returned after checking out they located and delivered it to me in minutes.

Employees were professional, polite and always willing to help you, and quickly also.

Booked my room thru a third party, which cut me out from my Marriott points, very disappointing, but will deal directly with Marriott the next time I stay.

Stay here alot, everyone is always nice and very helpful, and of course all the places to eat, the movie theatre and things to do in walking distance is great! In my opinion there is no better place to stay in huntington, the customer service is above and beyond.

Had a few problems with the elevators and the fire alarm system sounded two evenings in a row because of alarm system problems but they were fixed after that
