Hotel was clean and updated, close to gas station and food. Employees were very nice. Easy off and on interstate. Beds were comfortable, (kind of on the firm side and beds were on metal bases which squeaked). Overall, would stay again. Price was easy on the wallet.

We had 2 rooms. One smelled like mildew, maybe bc it was close to the laundry room. The other smelled like weed very badly, even though there are repetitive no Marijuana posters. This room also had what appears to have been pubic hair in the tub and the water in the shower wouldn't get past a "baby safe warm". Breakfast was also very dry....very few selections. It seemed like people were constantly doing stuff around the property at all hours of the night. We checked in after 10 pm and gone before 8 am, but the constant noise, like people were cleaning or working- not really sure what tbh, had us irritated. Both rooms were on the first floor.

Everything has been great at this hotel, I've stayed there 23 times now in 2023 and I must say, overall it's a 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hotel in my opinion. It's not perfect because no hotel is going to be perfect, because as humans, we are not perfect, so given that, it's been about as good as it gets in a value hotel, as they're getting hard to find in today's world. It's clean, it's comfy, the ACs all put out air so cold you'll literally have to turn them off 🥶❄️which is great in this Memphis summer heat, and last & most importantly, you have a roof over your head, which is always priced at a good deal compared to others around town, it's usually to me the best deal most any night. The staff is the best, they're all one big family who runs it, and someone is always in the office night or day if you need anything, arrive late, etc, but they are all very friendly, hospitable, and kind. They have a breakfast in the mornings in the lobby and there is a Waffle House next door that you can walk to and it's open 24 Hours so there's always something to eat and they have a washer & dryer for guest use on-site as well should you need to do any laundry. If I was to give an award for Best Hotel in the Memphis area, it would be the Super 8 in Lakeland, as it's aleays great at the Super 8!

I have no complaints really, I'm just thankful for this great hotel & it's warm & friendly staff, and for the past three years it's become my home away from home! I don't know what I would have done some of the nights I ended up at Super 8!

It had a pool, there was breakfast available in the morning.

The a/c didn't really cool the room down. The electricity was wired wrong. Outlets were showing which is cause for potential fire hazard. Some outlets would buzz or spark. Some furniture looked like it was about to break.

I thought the property is well maintained and the staff is very kind.

While I did not pay to stay in a 5-star hotel, this place was clean, it was comfortable, and I felt safe. The shower was hot with exceptionally good water pressure, and there were plenty of towels.

Convenient location. Affordable rates. COLD air-conditioning. Comfortable bed. Was kinda ify at first due to the bad reviews but gave it a chance to have my own reviews

Not enough pillows. No laundry detergent in vending machines.

The guy during the night shift is super rude and unprofessional! they honestly get over because if you check in after 12am it’s considered a new day meaning my check is suppose to be the next day at 11am instead of that same day at 11am!

Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The price was okay.

Too much concern about Covid still, no tables set up for breakfast; you had to take your food to your room. They also wouldn't let you come inside the lobby in the afternoon. This paranoia needs to end. They also have a drainage problem in the front area (during rain.)
