From the moment I booked, I was impressed by the level of care and attention to detail. As a Muslim traveler, I was especially grateful that the hotel had already arranged to meet my halal requirements even before I arrived. A special thanks to the manager, Mr. Dogukan Pehlivan, whose warm hospitality set the tone for an exceptional stay. Chef Faisal also deserves praise for the outstanding halal cuisine, every meal was a delight. The entire staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel truly welcomed. This hotel goes above and beyond—an unforgettable experience and excellent value for money. Highly recommended! The best western in Lusaka is truly exceptional!!

- I could check in earlier than expected. - The room was big. - The Wi-Fi worked well. - I liked the small gym. - The shower was hot. - The transfer to the airport was good.

- The room was really cold. - During the breakfast, I wish the staff members would be less eager. I like to decide what to eat and carry my tray by myself. - I find it weird that a staff member asked me to rate the hotel 10/10. I think it’s up to the customer to decide how (s)he likes the hotel.

One of the greatest hotels in Lusaka downtown. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Internet connection was excellent. Not only for checking basic things such as e-mails but also to watch videos, streaming services, etc. in HQ 1080p without any interruption. They have a really nice pool bar located in front of the hotel and offers delicious dishes and wide range of drinks. Employees were really kind and helpful. Lastly, as I heard, hotel has also been supporting local community through different projects. They have projects for the employment of youth and women to develop their capacities in tourism sector as well as to foster their employment.

It was a Amazing stay there. I Enjoy every Moment there. It was a warm and lovely welcoming from the Manager. Room was big enough and clean . The Pool Area was really nice . I had a calm time in there. The food was pretty nice and had a good price-performance ratio. I also had the chance to meet the owner of this property. He was also so friendly. Ii was feeling in there like i am home. And I have to tell something... I forgot my passport and my phone on the reception. Nothing get lost and it comes back to me.

Exceedingly hospitable staff and happy to over manage for customers’ convenience. Our friend Ms Esther at the front desk is an amazing human being. Always willing to help. She helped me manage my booking, internet access, the checkin process with her was a breeze and she was happy to guide us to local attractions - which are worthy. Very selfless and caring. It is not everyday that you find friendly staff at the hotels but Esther exceeds all expectations. All the lead gentleman at the front desk. He let me use a room post check out - to freshen up when I went back to collect my luggage in the evening, to catch my flight. Three Cheers for Esther and her colleague Emeldah who is equally helping and forthcoming

It’s the people not just the place that make a stay at a hotel an enjoyable experience. From check-in to check-out and from top to bottom, BWH in Lusaka was a memorable stay. Starting off with “D” the hotel manger and Ben at the front desk giving me an amazing check-in experience. “D” brought me straight up to my room and introduced me to all the wonderful amenities it had to offer as well as the services in the hotel. That was a first for me! The hotel is very clean, my room was spacious and bright and even had a bathroom scale in it…..probably to ensure that you don’t over do it at the full service breakfast buffet! And let’s talk about the bedding! Probably the best sheets I’ve ever been between. Ben and Lisa made my stay enjoyable, assisting me with all my needs and securing ride sharing. The wifi was first rate, fast and reliable. I love this place. Easy access to Intercity bus terminal and Levy Mall.

There’s nothing to not like.

The location and front staff very warm and inviting. I toke an exceptional liking to the restaurant team, lead by Bing bing and Rawat. awesome team. Although the breakfast was limiting , they catered to my other dietary needs.

1- The facilities need some touch ups. 2- The bed linen on the beds look stained and dirty 3- Towels looked stained 4- Curtains dusty 5- Presidential suite needs work and thorough cleaning. Dirty bed, Dirty bed sheet. if I had to rate the hotel on their bed and lines be a level 2 . I stayed in other Best Western but this one hygiene standards are appalling. Guest Toilets downstairs most time not throughly cleaned . Hygiene a big issue

Myself and my son Chace were treated extremely well by all the staff at the hotel. The stand out people who made our stay memorable and enjoyable were Patience, Molly, Catherine and the guy who opens the front doors (not sure of his name). These people were extremely kind to my son and he wanted to make sure that they had a mention. We also liked the breakfast, we felt that the options were good and there was plenty to choose from. Also the swimming pool area was great, where we enjoyed many a relaxing afternoon.

The gym equipment was extremely dated and not many things worked well.

The hotel shuttle bus was waiting for us as planned and on arrival at the hotel we were upgraded to a Presidential Suite both times (from Dubai and from Livingstone). This is an excellent room and has a large bedroom with a view to the front of the Hotel, a living room and a bathroom with shower stall and a tub/jaccuzi. There was tea and coffee with an electric kettle and also a microwave with plates and cutlery. The bed was very comfortable as was the Sofa in the living room and the air-conditioners functioned well in both rooms. The Wifi access was easy with the codes having been provided by the Front desk staff during check-in. We did have a maintenance issue with the bathroom which was fixed to our satisfaction. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and answered all our calls promptly. The Sangalani restaurant, at which we had our breakfast and also a few meals, is large and very well laid out. The staff at the restaurant were very courteous and helpful. The breakfast spread was very good with plenty of choice and some local cuisine included as well. The meals we had were delicious and well prepared. We did experience power cuts a few times due to load shedding because of the hydro situation in Lusaka but the power kicked in soon after, though not seamlessly, each time. Ours was a short stay but a great one.

The room was fantastic... There was a functional Jacuzzi as advertised. Very comfy and clean. Breakfast was sumptuous... Wide variety... My wife and I gorged ourselves on it. I would also like to thank the staff and management who put in extra effort to make our stay special given that it was an anniversary celebration. We appreciated that there was power backup given the fact that there are nationwide power cuts and loadshedding. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
