The staff is the best part of the hotel, super friendly and always attentive to any need. The restaurant is very good and cheap. The service is excellent too. The breakfast is also very good. I think you get much more than you pay for. The generator works all day, so when there are power cuts (which happens a lot) it is activated automatically. The Wi-Fi starts working again within a few minutes. It is not the most comfortable thing in the world but it is a luxury to have power and Wi-Fi all day long. (At night the generator does not work, we had no problems with the temperature in the room).

The rooms are not nice, but they are fine. I really have nothing to complain about. To say the something, the gym has few machines, it could be improved. And i think you could offer room service.

The staff was polite and very attentive to the guest experience - with Zambian charm. Very helpful professionally. The food was excellently prepared and changed occasionally to my delight. It is value for money in this part of the city. Security was good too.

Sometimes the rooms (guest room and lobby) had mosquitoes. The addition of the lawn on ground floor will add colour. . The smoother transition to backup power would help with devices. The in-house room entertainment may be improved too.

Firstly the staff is really good and welcoming. Rooms are clean and the breakfast changes every day which is good. Only thing I can say they need to improve is that bed it’s a bit hard but that’s me looking for a fault besides that perfect

The machine at the reception made an error but i was charged. The ladies at the reception wasn't comprehensive at all and i had to pay twice despite the fact that i showed her my bank message saying that I've already paid. I will follow up with the manager but I'm really disappointed. It was a stressful and bad experience for a first time staying at Protea

The beds were very comfortable. The dinner was delicious and as we had to leave early, breakfast packs were arranged which contained a nice variety.

Not to the hotel's doing, there was no electricity and the generator was off from midnight to 5am which caused some discomfort as we could not operate the airconditioning.

Breakfast was very nice and it's a good location for business and very easy to access other places from there all the staff members were very helpful and cheerful. Rooms were very clean and I must say keep it up team protea hotel cairo you are the best.....

WiFi was a bit slow but not really bad maybe 1 or 2 touch ups so that it can speed up a bit. But it wasn't that bad.

The staff were super polite and friendly, always ready to help! Breakfast had a reasonable variety to choose from and the staff were always there to urge you to try something different! Location was excellent; right in the heart of everything!

The internet was disrupted a bit sometimes. But I came to understand that it was a Lusaka issue, not just the hotel! My work was, however, not affected

The hotel staff are very welcoming and attentive to guests.the food was amazing 💯%..thanks to the kitchen staff.the hotel room was very nice too ..the WiFi connection very good 💯%.the location of the hotel is the best and its very safe as well..close to everything..i will definately come back again.thank you Protea...👏

The breakfast was really tasty with generous portions; my eggs were made just the way I like them. I also loved the packaging used when I had to takeout my breakfast. The staff is definitely the best feature of this hotel. They were really friendly, warm, helpful and they made me sure I had a pleasant stay. The service at this hotel was exceptional indeed. My room was big and looked just like the photos. Housekeeping also did a great job with the cleaning.

Staff were extremely efficient and very friendly. I do suggest you get some band aid/ plaster in should your guest need if they cut them selves but more importantly for your staff. It was a shock to me that they didn't have.
