The staff very passionate about what they do, helpful, always checking if a guest is OK. They demonstrated a very high degree of customer service training invested in them. They are so courteous, warm and empathetic. The level of cleanliness and well prepared rooms, which are all fresh, with working facilities, is absolutely fantastic. The pool area well served and provides a tranquil environment to help calm down the day.

Wi-Fi issues a cause of concern, people these days working round the clock, and WIFI is now the currency for business

I recently stayed at The Escape Lodge in Lusaka and it was the best accommodation I have ever experienced in Zambia. The location was great as it was within walking distance to two major mall outlets, medical clinics and more! The newly built suites offered clean, spacious, modern amenities, a perfectly sized bathtub for larger bodies like mine, a separate shower and a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant had an excellent menu with both local and international options, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast was filling and the chefs made the T-Bone steak so incredibly delicious that I literally ate the same thing every night for over a week. Yes, that's correct - I ordered the T-Bone steak every single day and enjoyed every last bite! The staff were especially attentive to any questions/concerns that I had and were kind, thoughtful and responsive. All in all, this is a great place to stay while visiting Lusaka!

The only "dislike" I can express is that the lodge also serves as an events center and has a public pool bar in the back which can tend to be very noisy if that's not your kind of entertainment source. Also, the wifi was pretty bad but when I expressed my concerns to the receptionist and the managers on duty, they were extremely helpful and offered alternative solutions while they worked on making the signal strength better. It turned out to be a provider issue and not the property's fault.

The location was a bit far from Lusaka downtown but in walking distance to two malls. Apart from an Indian restaurant there was only a KCB. The Escape Lodge is a spacious guesthouse with a small swimming pool. Rooms were proper and clean. Staff was friendly.

Without a car the Escape Lodge is not easy to reach.

Food was good,. Only issue is the map location on Bookings.com is wrong

the staff was excellent, breakfast was always goo and the pool/bar area was fun. also, I booked the reservation online at booking.com but they had no rooms when I arrived. They upgraded me for free for the first night!

The beds in standard rooms were a bit hard to sleep on. the standard rooms need to be renovated as well. the suite was perfect though.

The staff are very welcoming respectiful and polite. The rooms were very clean and worthy the price I was allowed late checkout

The WiFi coverage especially at the pool was low, but by the time I checked out, a new wireless router was being installed. I hope it will serve that side.

Quality room at a budget price. This was my second visit.

Not everyone will be comfortable moving around Lusaka independently - so if you are visiting the country, get a SIM card at the airport, and download (and register with) the two local Taxi apps (Ulendo and Zamcab) - they worked perfectly for me.

Entertainment, no control on TV ,channels Wi-Fi not working for 9 nights

The pool and pool bar are really nice. The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable.

It was a bit noisy the 2nd night we stayed. The wifi wasn't working and they had no remote control for our tv.

I loved the staff because they were nice and welcoming The facilities were superb The rooms were clean and comfortable to live in The room service was great

The food was great however it lacks variety. On other days the menu was the same with slight differences. Response time to issues raised by clients in rooms was a bit long, but the staff did help in the end
