We flew home to Cleveland, but the weather/roads were too bad/icy for someone to pick us up. We booked this last minute because it was close, the least expensive and had an included shuttle from the airport. The shuttle driver was friendly and kind. The person at the desk was also nice. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was large with good heating. We didn't have dinner, so we ate a bag of combos and microwave popcorn we purchased at the front desk. The room had a microwave and a Keurig. She offered us a shuttle ride to a local restaurant, but it was too late and too cold to leave the building. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious with a beautiful shower and nice towels. We LOVED the huge windows and could actually watch planes take off and land from the room.

Honestly as an "airport" hotel it was perfect. The only two things I can come up with are trivial. The TV was mounted in an awkward position. A better position would be in the wall area between the windows. That way it could be seen from the bed and couch. Second, the barn-style bathroom door was just a bit too narrow for the opening. This could be remedied easily by adding a 1x4 trim around the inside of the door opening. In any case, these are picky and really inconsequential to our having a great stay.

We had to leave before breakfast started, unfortunately. We were shocked by how clean and spacious the room was, given the very reasonable price, located so conveniently near the airport. Will stay here again.

The person at the front desk was friendly, but didn't seem able to answer questions in a logical manner. We inquired about the time we should be ready for the airport shuttle to arrive at 5am, and she asked if we wanted to reserve times that were well after the time we needed to arrive. (in 20 minute increments) Just a misunderstanding, but it was frustrating that she wasn't actually listening to what we were saying. Very minor complaint.

My partner had a very early flight out from Cleveland Airport the next day, and the Orbit Hotel fit the bill. We enjoyed the repurposed office-building vibe & the retro midcentury modern touches. It feels "noisier" indoors than many places because of the original floors and lack of rugs, but I kinda liked that. It's not a particularly interesting location if you're only there overnight. But the proximity to the airport was what we wanted, and it worked. I'd stay here again under similar circumstances.

There's nowhere to walk to after hours. But that's not really their fault.

The Orbit is a unique concept hotel which captures the imagination blending retro 60's geometric and whimsical design with attention to detail in the midst of the brilliantly repurposed historical NASA engineering research and development building. The hotel is newly renovated and fully equipped for convenience, quality, comfort, cleanliness✨, and definitely a "spacious" vibe for a great stay :-))) The airport service is complementary, reliable, and the breakfast is very generous, varied, and freshly prepared by a really conscientious hostess. Edward heads up the morning shift in a positive, personable and engaged manner which makes just being there energized!! All aspects reflect well on the professional manager in place. If you or your family are visiting Cleveland or just passing through on a layover don't miss the opportunity to stay here because this is an American iconic "space" now a revitalized landmark to not only be treasured, but enjoyed by The Traveler ... We were travelling back to Florida and needed a place to stay for one night. I read all the positive reviews, and I chose the Orbit. The Orbit lived up to the great reviews! Very convenient location, clean and very large room, and nice breakfast. When we checked in we asked for a room with a view, so they put us in a third story room with an excellent view of the airport and the planes landing. All in all, a very nice experience; I would stay again and also recommend to my friends.

The Staff (especially at check in and the cleaning crew) were very friendly and casual. This was a two night stay for a family event and I needed a 'home base' not an 'experience'. The Orbit fit the bill perfectly. Utilitarian was what I wanted and what I got. If that is your goal this is a good fit for that.

Breakfast was OK but the coffee could have been better. It was free, though, so there is that. The whole vibe is a little "converted office space" so bear that in mind, but it was a good conversion - solid, modern. As I said earlier, perfect for a 'home base' to come back to for the evening, but not a hotel experience.

The accommodations were excellent...comfy bed..large bathroom..clean and quiet.

I received a $25 fee against my credit card for drinks and food that I didn't order. The person who I spoke with on the phone was quite bothered by the fact that she had to even talk to me about it. She eventually said I would get refunded but I stopped looking for a refund after 2 weeks.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Cleveland airport. The staff is very nice, and the property was clean. The free breakfast next to the lobby was perfectly adequate, including pancakes, scrambled eggs, cereal, bagels, yogurt, etc. The decor was cool - NASA themed. Free parking right out the front door. HUGE rooms, with big bathroom as well.

No cream cheese for the bagels at breakfast; paper plates/utensils. The hotel wasn't very soundproof - concrete floors means you can hear things in the hallways.

Room didn’t have sliders/ slippers in and any bath robes. I requested but they couldn’t provide. I feel these are important for travellers.

Cool place for airport hotel. Very comfortable beds and nice breakfast. Not sure why people complained. Above and beyond service. When we returned to go to the airport power had been out overnight and they still arranged for the free shuttle and had coffee from Dunkin at 2pm. Big thumbs up. My only reason for giving a 9/10 is it’s not a luxury facility but would give 10/10 for customer service.

Lighting was missing in living area. Otherwise very nice room for mid-level place.
