My stay was absolutely faultless to be honest. Firstly, the location is absolutely stunning! I got the friendliest of greetings from the reception staff, they got me checked in quickly and were very informative. My room exceeded my expectations, modern style and incredibly clean. The view from my balcony too was next level. Breakfast, lunch and dinner had so many options and the quality of the food was great. Everything was so tasty and the dessert options and flavours were far better than what I expected. All staff I encountered were so friendly and the TUI rep in guest relations (I don't know his name unfortunately but he had long hair!) really helped make my stay even better by giving me some great recommendations for trips that were solo traveller friendly and he was was very helpful. The port was close to the hotel which meant getting a ferry to Dubrovnik was so easy (and cheap) - the journey was around 30 minutes and cost just 5.10 euros each way. The local taxis are expensive though and charge tourist prices so try and get an UBER if you want to save half the price. The beach at the front of the hotel was perfect too. Crystal clear water, plenty of beds to choose from and again, the scenery was like something you'd see on a postcard. All in all, I'd give 11/10 for my stay if I could and will 100% be returning next year based on such an amazing experience and stay. Thank you.

The property is very nicely located front of three beach on small island just outside of Dubrovnik. The all inclusive option is great value for money. Many choices on meals. The reception lady, Eva, was super friendly and she organised a nice card for us and cake for our wedding anniversary. Thank you

Very difficult to go to Dubrovnik and come back. Only few ferries

From the moment we arrived at TUI Blue Kalamota Island, it felt like stepping into a postcard-perfect paradise. The beaches were truly breathtaking crystal-clear, dreamy blue waters lapping against the shore, with majestic cliffs framing some part of the the island The atmosphere was incredibly warm and welcoming. The staff were not only professional but genuinely friendly, making us feel at home. The food was an absolute highlight an open buffet with a delicious variety every day, from fresh local flavors to international favorites, all beautifully presented and bursting with taste. The fresh fish and deserts were my favourites. Evenings were magical, with live music adding to the relaxed, romantic vibe. Also walking near the beach in front of the hotel was so peaceful in the evening.Our room was spotless, comfortable, and welldesigned, providing the perfect retreat after a day of swimming and exploring. Between the serene turquoise waters, the stunning landscapes, and the warmhearted people, it’s the kind of place you dream about long after you’ve left. I can’t wait to return!

There is nothing that I can complain.

The island is beautiful and very peaceful. The hotel was perfect — we honestly couldn't find a single negative thing. Lunch and dinner were both of a very high standard, with the added bonus of live music. There are plenty of lovely places to relax and enjoy cocktails, even late in the evening. The highlight of our stay was the incredibly helpful staff, especially the girl at reception — Ivana. She was amazing and assisted us with everything we needed. We will definitely come back many more times. Believe me, this place deserves a much higher rating than 8.9!

Dinners were tasty. The hotel offered several experienced during the stay. The cleaning staff did their job perfectly and the bed was so comfortable. Honestly the best mattress I slept in this trip. Shower was great, AC worked amazing (just a little noisy). Drinks from the bar were available most of the time. Soft drinks were available all time so easy to keep hydration and that’s important.

Breakfast was too mediocre. The chicken nuggets were never crispy. Some experience was nonsense as you just go there and take a picture of the “recipe” and leave. The bed frame was wooden and very easy to hurt your toes.

We spent five days at TUI Blue Kalamota Island Hotel in July and had a truly enjoyable experience. The location is stunning – situated on the peaceful island of Kolocep, just a short 30-minute ferry ride from Dubrovnik’s Gruz Port. The sea was exceptionally clean with a sandy beach, which made swimming very pleasant. Despite it being high season, the hotel never felt overcrowded and maintained a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The quality and variety of food across all three meals was satisfying, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We also appreciated the excellent Wi-Fi connection in the room, which worked smoothly throughout our stay. The air conditioning functioned very well, and everything in the bathroom – including hot water and taps – worked perfectly without any issues. Staff at the reception and the restaurant were always polite and helpful. We also enjoyed using the hotel’s app, which provided access to a variety of activities like wine tasting, table tennis, and spa sessions – a great way to socialise and unwind.

The only minor downside we experienced was related to the beach area. While the hotel is adults-only, we noticed that the beach, especially during some hours of the day, was accessed by people not staying at the hotel – including families with children. On one occasion, a family without hotel wristbands used the sunbeds and swam in front of the hotel’s beach area. Although this might be due to local regulations limiting full beach privatisation, perhaps the hotel could add some signs or take small actions to reinforce the exclusivity of the beach area for hotel guests, which would better align with the adults-only concept.

Our stay at TUI BLUE Kalamota Island was nothing short of magical – a place where time slows down, the soul exhales, and every moment feels touched by something sacred. The island itself is like a storybook – car-free, peaceful, lush with greenery, and surrounded by crystal-clear waters. But what made this trip truly unforgettable was the staff – the heart and soul of this little paradise. Ivana at the reception welcomed us with a smile that went straight to the heart. A true ray of sunshine! She handled everything with warmth, grace, and precision. Thank you, Ivana – you set the tone for our entire experience. And then there’s Neno… The Pizza Maestro. His pizzas were out of this world – crispy, flavorful – but it was his garlic oil bread that truly blew us away. Absolutely outstanding. Adrian greeted us every morning with his heavenly omelets, made with care and calm. He didn’t just prepare breakfast – he made it a moment of connection, warmth, and comfort. Then there was the elderly man watering the garden – a little guardian of the plant & flowers. His presence radiated such goodness and humility. The room was perfect – cool and comfortable with a powerful AC, great beds that gave us restful sleep, and always kept spotlessly clean by the kind and attentive housekeeping team. We truly felt cared for in every detail. The entire restaurant staff was top notch – warm, attentive, and dedicated to keeping standards high while always meeting each guest with a genuine smile and heart. The location was scenic and silent. The food was great (could’ve been slightly hotter though) and the staff were amazing. Tennis court was great and the selection of entertainment was good. There is nice walks nearby also to give you something to do if you can bare the heat.

Our first room didn’t have a view at all, so we asked to move rooms. We upgraded to a bigger room with a view which was great. Only fault was the air conditioning in the room was not great at all compared to the first room, and paying for an upgrade you would hope this necessity would work. This caused some sleepless nights in the hot weather.

Kalamota ( Kolocep) is a wonderful Island and perfect sea! Hotel is so great, all served food amazing and delicious. Rooms are cleaning every day. All personnel were perfect! We will come again!

Location - a lovely spot to relax. Comfortable bed and bathroom/bedroom were very clean. Decent choice of food in the buffet/restaurant. Restaurant staff were lovely as was the lady at the “evening bar” …

Some of the staff at the pool bar were grumpy and rude. They always seemed put out or unhappy that we would order something! One had a go at me for ordering a couple of drinks - at 5:30pm- even though they were the first drinks I’d ordered all day!
