We attended a party in Montauk next to the resort. Gurney’s location was convenient and offered shuttle service. The resort itself is situated on the best beach and has a great vibe. Music on the beach during the day and by the fire pit at night.Amenities including gym, indoor pool, outdoor pool, spa were great. We had a nice dinner at GiGi’s overlooking the ocean.We will be back!

There was a ongoing renovation on the hotel. The kids Club was closed during all our stay. On the day our arrival, the restaurant was closed for dinner. In the firepit, only drinks were being served. On the second day, it was raining, windy and cold, but breakfast was served only outdoors anyway, with no option to sitting indoor.

Hotel is absolutely gorgeous, secluded quite location, you can see and hear the ocean everywhere, it’s magnificent! You are literally living on the beach. Dinner at the Scarpetta restaurant is delicious, worthy of a Michelin star restaurant in Manhattan, their chef and the team are outstanding! Breakfast and lunch are also great, pretty much everything on the menu is superb quality! Safe to say that their people do an incredible job at the hotel. Spa is lovely, pool is large and the sauna/steam room area with diving pools of different temperatures are just a great place to relax. Gets pretty busy on weekends, but weekdays are perfect. The place is a gem and there is nothing like it in Montauk or anywhere near.

Beautiful ocean view large king room with sink /small fridge. Still UNDER CONSTRUCTION until May no place to buy morning coffee or snacks, they are using a small room for restaurant. But can’t beat the LOCATION, free yoga and gym / sauna/ indoor pool. Great escape in Montauk during cold spring season!

Overall, our experience at the hotel was fantastic. We spent 3 night in total, 2 in an oceanfront room and 1 in an ocean view room. The Oceanfront rooms (we stayed at the 3 story building on the east side) were absolutely fantastic. Great views of the ocean, beach access, quiet, clean and comfortable bed and room. We had a great relaxing time in this room and it was well worth the price. We had great runs and walks on the beach which is miles long ini each direction. The fitness center was clean, spacious and functional. We had some nice dinners and lunches (some good vegan and gluten free options too) at the restaurants and around the fire pit at night (Thanks Rafael - you're the best). Overall the staff at the hotel was nice, and professional and help accomodate us when necessary.

The first night we spent in an oceanview room, which was right above the main parking lot, somewhat noisy, with very limited view of the ocean. In our opinion, these room do not justify a stay at the hotel (and the price), despite all the good things above.

Amazing stuff, everyone was kind and nice. Bathhouse was great too! We had the most beautiful sunset and sunrise.

SMELL of the room!! Omg… guys you have to work on this. It smelled like a terrible motel room, we came home and the jackets and other things we had were so smelly… really shocking for the hotel like this

The views and staff were absolutely amazing.

The decor seems a little cold and it would have been nice to see a carpet / rug in the lounges.

Great room. Spacious deck with reclining deck chairs so that you can take a nap out there with the fresh air and sea breeze. Everything was in working order and exceptionally clean. Staff was well-trained, friendly, and accommodating.

In-room bar pricing was a little crazy. $8.00 for a tiny bag of chips that I would give my kid to go to school. $8.00 at the coffee bar in the lobby. That seemed a little much, no?

Great property, all amenities face the sea, great staff, electric chargers complementary

I would rate sustainability efforts as a D. Still lots of plastic bottles, towels consumed, non reusable plastic glasses, etc… Gurneys can do better! Parking lots and cars take too much space on the property.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment which works well for a family. Our two young kids love the indoor pool. And we love the bathhouse. Food is delicious.

Check in was too late at 5.30pm.
