We had a truly memorable stay in the beautiful and unique setting of the Alcove. The staff were so lovely and helpful with everything , just wonderful. We loved the gardens and all the stunning art work. We also had the best times in the Restaurant / Bar . The food is outstanding , the staff so welcoming , the fire show and dancing amazing . As soon as I stepped into this place , restaurant and bungalows , I felt transported into a different, exotic world, and we all loved it We travelled with our two daughters and their best friends. One of my daughters and her friend had an accident with their scooter and the staff were absolutely wonderful , genuinely concerned for their welfare and went above and beyond to help. My husband and I have left now , but my daughter and her friend remain for a couple more nights to get rest and recover. I am very glad to know they are at the Alcove, I know they will be safe and looked after there . 🙏🙏🙏

Alcove Bungalow was a lovely place to stay. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The Bungalows were nice, and the outside area was beautiful, especially at night when it was lit up. You can hear the music from the bars across the street, but it does generally stop around 11pm/12am.

We did find that the Bungalow needed a little attention, particularly the bathroom. The sink leaked every time it was used, and some of the tiles were broken and looked a little shabby. Because of the high wooden roof in the Bungalow, it did smell quite musty, but we got some incense sticks, which helped with that. Overall we were happy and of course, for the price it was fine.

I had an amazing stay at Alcove Bungalow Koh Phangan – it truly felt like home from the very first moment. The place is spotlessly clean and beautifully kept, with a gentle, welcoming vibe. The restaurant has a relaxed beach atmosphere and a lovely energy that makes every meal feel special. What really made the experience unforgettable was Arissara. She is simply wonderful – caring, kind, and attentive in a way that felt like a close friend looking after me. She anticipated everything I might need and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and happy, with a warmth that touched me deeply. The whole team was friendly and thoughtful, creating an environment where I could fully relax and enjoy every moment. I have no doubt that I will come back again, and I wholeheartedly recommend Alcove Bungalow to anyone seeking a stay filled with comfort, beauty, and genuine human warmth.

We had a really nice stay at Alcove. The room is spacious with a clean bathroom and a huge balcony you can relax on. The staff are friendly and responsive and the owners greeted us and made our stay special. They even extended our stay at a short notice and accommodated for us. They have a lovely restaurant facing the sea and is quite happening most nights which we go to experience one evening. There is a café and a 7eleven in waking distance and you can rent a scooter nearby. The beach is nice to take evening strolls but not so suitable for swimming. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The roadside noise can be herd at times (but we did have the first bunglow)

My stay was simply perfect, clean, comfortable, and with a warm, homely atmosphere. The location is excellent, just about a 20-minute walk to the Zen Beach area, with great restaurants nearby. The staff are wonderful, kind, and extremely helpful. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it! The place is quiet and private, yet situated on the main road, making it very easy to catch a taxi. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a combination of comfort, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality.

Beautifully decorated modern bungalows, plenty of space and a nice bathroom . Hammocks to chill in outside . Great staff and in a good location near many bars , shops & restaurants. The restaurant is a great place to sit and watch the sunset with really great food and entertainment for the evening. Would definitely stay again.

Bed a little on the hard side but that’s quite usual for Thailand, the music from the beach bar across the street is a little loud so take ear plugs but wouldn’t stop me from staying again .

The property has a lot of charme. The rooms are cozy and you can tell that little details have been added to make you feel at home. The rooms are spacious and clean. The porch is a delight - big chair, hammock and bench. The location is perfect and you have everything you might needed within 2 mins walk - scooter rental, money exchange, 7 Eleven, bars & restaurants. Best stay.

The Hin Kong beach, the view, the sunsets, the people working at Alcove restaurant (Oung, Karin and all the others), the lady that cleaned the room each day with a smile, fast internet, cold fridge, Aircon and blowers. The whole stay was just perfect, don't expect a five star experience, you don't pay for one. Location on the island was perfect too. And the beautiful lady singing jazzy love songs... WOW

my 2nd or 3rd return to Alcove bungalows . the bungalows are always clean and comfortable - fridge, coffee service, nice soap and shampoo in bathroom….. and with tasteful decoration, paint colors and lighting. I feel like I am in the movie ‘Moulin Rouge’. the 7 bungalows are lined up vertical to the sea, across the street. nice shaded garden views.

The following is qualified as it is written by my inner old curmudgeon ! (ha) - the very popular Alcove restaurant is across the street - fantastic food and drink, fire shows on the beach. it can be a source of motorbike and car parking confusion and loud music up to closing time. I got over myself and fell asleeep very easily every night.
