We had a fantastic stay! I've been on Koh Pangang for 3 months and this is the best resort I've stayed in.. great food, great views, right next to Hin Kon beach, you really couldn't ask for more. Plus as a bonus, the family who run it are just so lovely and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

Okay, so here's my story. I came to Copenhagen in a rather spontaneous fashion, and very little was planned. When the full moon party was approaching, I noticed that the prices were going up and up, and there were fewer and fewer rooms available in various dormitories along the south side of the island and in general. I considered spending one night in Kosovo, but decided eventually against it. This one night in this resort cost me as much as 10 nights in some of the cheaper dormitories I was in in the island. But the resort is indeed lovely. The rooms are large and clean and well furnished, and the owner is very friendly, like most owners on the island, even perhaps a bit more than average due to him being an American. But to be perfectly honest, I was a bit lonely. I had a much better time staying at a cheap dormitory and having lots of people to talk to than having a nicely sized, clean private room, but all other people on the resort were part of groups or families, and there were no other solo travelers there. So I had no one to chat with in the afternoon and in the evening. Let's say I had a lot fewer people to chat with. But I definitely had a positive experience in terms of the facilities and the friendliness of the staff.

The beach and pool are great. The beach itself might not be great for swimming, but you can get a nice view from the pool. The host is verry friendly and chatty which was great. The bar does have some peppery prices but there is a convinience store close by, 5 minutes on foot. You can also rent a scooter directly in the resort. It might not be the newest models but the bring you from a to b. Overall i would Highly recomend this Resort.

Cyana was a real treat in my two weeks vacation in ko phangan. The place is well designed, great located, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, the facilities were well taken care of and the general experience was very pleasing. In comparison to other places, Cyana was very much fairly priced, didn't feel they were greedy or trying to exploit the guests. Its location is quiet and beautiful, with a kind of a private beach. I was traveling with a motorbike, so I could reach anywhere from there. There are some excellent restaurants nearby like Nena, Nongta and my favorite - Phanguyana (that also offered a 20% discount for Cyana residents while I was there).

While I was there (march 24), the private Jacuzzi was broken. They were so fair, that it wasn't mentioned that my room had one, so I wasn't at all disappointed.

It's a really nice, small and cosy resort. Perfectly located close to the Tongsala pier, Srithanu village and Hin Kong Road with its many restaurants and cafe's (but luckily you don't hear any traffic from the road). It has a beautiful, typical Thai view over the water and a little local fishing harbor. The owners, Kyle and Katie, are the best. They are helpful, cheerful, super relaxed and just very warm-hearted people (that also goes for the rest of the team). They know how to make you feel completely welcome and at home. The swimming pool and the garden are beautiful. They also have a great cook that can basically make any dish you like, be it Thai or Western. The rooms are clean, cosy and have everything you need. We had many lovely days at the pool and fun nights at the pool table :-) Long story short: we had the BEST time and will definitely be back.

Nothing. :-)

It’s got a great aesthetic over the whole property, the pool is fantastic, the pool table was a bonus when it’s not in use. The rooms were spacious and well fitted. Its got a fairly convenient location if you have a bike and want to be close enough to town and close enough to go up the coast where we found there were the best eating spots and snorkelling.

The driveway is long and there’s no place for a rental car or for pickups/drop offs to turn around so you have to walk luggage up and down long driveway. Hot water in shower wasn’t great especially if there’s two of you wanting a shower. The outlook is tidal so it’s often mudflats your looking at and when the tide comes back in it pushes a waste smell up the drain in the shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay though, it was very nice.

- The atmosphere. It's quiet and serene most of the day and gets more lively in the evening in the bar area. - The people. Katie and Kyle are extremely nice and it seems to attract a variety of good people to stay there and meet in the bar in the evening. - It's Clean, spacious and overall well maintained.

- It's not really a walking distance from central areas. You can get to a supermarket and a couple of restaurants in a 10 minute walking radius but that's about it. - The drainage in the room isn't great. The bathroom basically becomes a bath when showering and it takes a few minutes for the water to drain after you finish. - Sometimes you had to ask multiple times for something to be done as it was forgotten.

Nice pool, comfy bed, friendly staff. Easy walk to top sunset bars like Amsterdam Bar.

Halfway between thongsala and srithanu-great if you've got wheels... If you don't it's actually not that far to walk to these areas and a lot of the popular yoga studios but you do have to be up for a walk. 😉 Also when I was trying to book this accommodation there was a bit of a lack of communication and some questions went unanswered for longer than 24 hours but once I was there it was very easy to speak to someone about anything I needed.

Cyana is a great location in the little town of Wok Tum, w a couple of excellent restaurants walking distance from Cyana. Hosts & owners Katie & Kyle made me feel immediately at home & comfortable. They treated me like one of their family. A couple of times during my 5 night stay they had me sit down for a complimentary meals. The last night, they threw a BBQ & Bday party for their cook Mom. There were a bunch of other guests there, a couple honeymooning from Ireland, a hang glider from BC, a local woman from LA, & a couple from France. It was way beyond generous hospitality!

The manager/owner was super friendly and chatty, the accommodation is really nicely and newly decorated with a lot of thought for guests (including drying rack, comfortable seating and a hammock for each room) the bed is very comfortable and the rooms are clean. Also stunning view from the room

Nowhere to park cars so we had to park at the end of the road away from the resort. Our duvet was also very small and narrow for the bed so was not big enough for two
