The Sea Rock is a unique hotel set in the cliff face looking over the sea. The lady who runs it is lovely, as are her 5 cats 😻. It is a bit of a hike up the hill to get to the hotel, so I would strongly recommend the moped.. we hired one for around 300bht. This will also allow you to get around this amazing island 🙏🏽 Ko Phangnan is so beautiful and my favorite island so far in Thailand. We would use The Sea Rock again

The only mention would be that the beds are like rock.. We still managed to sleep all the same

What a remarkable experience! The owner was so incredibly welcoming and friendly, always with a big smile and a positive attitude. Her daughter works as housekeeping and was so sweet and pleasant. The view from the top two floors was unbelievable. Beautiful view of the sea and islands, with palm trees all around. The pool was a comfortable temperature, very clean, and steps away from the room! There are several very nice oceanfront restaurants within 2-5 minutes walk. Literally across the street, with amazing service and food. The room was clean, beds for the most part comfortable, the linens all clean and fresh. You can tell they deep clean the rooms often. (unlike MANY places I've stayed at!!!!) Overall we had an incredibly wonderful experience. I would gladly stay here again. We were there for 5 nights, and didn't really want to leave! I could live there. We were lucky to wake up one morning to a monk doing a spiritual blessing on the property. All around amazing experience.

Very well located, friendly staff. Ying the owner is very kind and respectful ! Nice pool with sunset views. Feels like being in nature while being in a central location. I recommend it !

Nice place to stay for 2 nights, not far from the peer and close to nice beaches and great hikes. We were welcomed by a very nice lady and although we booked the room last minute, it was ready when we arrived. The room was nice and comfortable.

The room is a bit dark (more lighting at night would be nice) and there is little privacy as the wall that separates the room from the outside is a window wall. Some people can walk in front of the window as it is common area. During the day we tended to leave the window door open to have more light inside. But although the hotel had other guests, they were all very discrete and it was ok in the end.

Outside furniture is very uncomfortable and heavy, so when upstairs move, it sounds terribly loud.

The room was very nice and comfortable, also I could sea the sea from the room, very clean and the staff so nice. I don’t understand the reviews in google maps, the place deserves more score. I totally recommend it!

Clean and spacious room, very friendly owner. Fridge, wardrobe, chairs and table outside room with ash tray. Free water bottles were provided each morning of our stay. Nice pool

Kata is a sweetie and running this place very well! we like the vibe and the view. pay extra to get sea front view - its worth it!

Upper level is more noisy due to improper noise roof insulation. the balcony is walkway and hang out for everyone so at night people may be loud. there was no restaurant in the resort, but down the road are many good places to walk to. hard Thai mattresses.

The host was extremely lovely. The bedroom view to the amazing sea was more beautiful than any place I have ever stayed. I will definitely be staying here again and recommending it to my friends!
