Excellent vegan breakfast. We paid to upgrade to a larger bungalow with generous air-con. Enjoyed some vegan lunches & dinners. Liked to be able to step down onto the beach for morning walks. Management was always helpful, obliging and assisted ferry booking, taxi etc. Enjoyed the deep shade from old leafy trees in the meal area and above the bungalow. Collective taxis passed along nearby road and a short distance into Koh Phangan town where market, money exchange, restaurants, bazaar dress shops etc abounded. And a new toilet for the restaurant area was being installed.

Possibly some handrails to go up to the road and down to the beach. Possibly rails in the shower area to hold onto.

The staff were incredible, the location is just sensational. The whole vibe of the place is tranquil and so inviting. Renting Kayaks from next door and exploring the local area was a dream. The sea water was crystal clear and calm. There was a real community feel with the communal kitchen area, communal toys, yoga sessions in the mornings and the lovely lady who cooks local dishes throughout the day.

That we had to leave and go home.. honestly it is like paradise.

Huts with own bath and hammock, lovely common area with kitchen, seating, hammocks, swing next to the beach, vegan meals, nice staff and morning yoga!

The huts are not getting any younger

This place is the perfect place to chill. Woke up in the morning for the yoga class at 8:15 on the beach, then we were given a tasty and healthy free breakfast. The food they serve for lunch and dinner is also really nice and fresh. I could sit in the hammocks overlooking the beach all day. It was so beautiful and the staff were very friendly

The tide only comes in when it’s dark so we couldn’t swim, not the properties fault though. The huts are very basic, even the deluxe huts are very much just a mattress, a toilet, and a shower, no fridge or anything. However there is a big fridge at reception that everyone can use, as well as ovens and stuff which is great.

We loved our stay in Colorful Hut! We booked the family bungalow and even though it is an older building the facilities were ok. We got a hammock on our porch which was under a huge tree and we could sit and relax there for hours. The common area was amazing with enough sitting space for all guests and very good service. The view out into the sea is a work of art and we will remember the sunsets forever. The yoga classes were really nice and refreshing as was the vegan breakfast which was different each day. The location is very good as you can walk into town but far it is far enough to not get any noise from traffic etc.

There was some kind of repair happening behind our bungalow which caused a bit of commotion in our neighborhood and a bit of noise but nothing too annoying. Our bed was a bit short for my boyfriend.

The location was beautiful on the beach. We loved the vegan cafe and the yoga each day! The honesty system for drinks also worked well. The breakfast was great. Tintin and the resident doggies gave a lovely welcome to us each day. It was a 10-minute walk into town. It felt like a really chilled place to stay. We also rented kayaks next door for a really good price.

Our cabin was really close to the road, and on full moon night the noise was constant until 4am. Other nights till gone midnight. The cabin was quite small for a 4 night stay with 2 cases, so we'd upgrade next time. The bed was really hard! It was hiwvwr a great place overall.

I had a wonderful stay! The place is really beautiful — peaceful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff were truly fantastic: always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast exceeded my expectations — fresh, varied, and delicious every morning. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

The only minor downside was the mattress, which I personally found a bit uncomfortable — but everything else made up for it.

We loved our stay here. The location is about 15 mins walk from the pier. They provide motorbikes upon request and every morning there is a yoga class for free in front of the beach. The room is nice and clean, and the bed very comfy. In every room there was a reusable bag and water bottle to use during the stay, and they provided free drinkable water. Staff has been amazing too, very nice and friendly. The best part of our stay was the vegan FOOD! breakfast was included but we also had dinner here, and everytime we loved it. I can't recommend the place enough.

We have been given the bungalow close to the street, and unfortuntely the traffic noise was quite annoying.

One of my favourite stays ever! There’s nothing like waking up on the beach. Staff here are like family. So nice and warm!! Ate here too and loved their food. The hammocks, free yoga and my breakfast absolutely added to the experience. I was able to walk to the town near the pier within 10-15 mins.

You definitely need a scooter to explore Koh Phangan. I don’t ride but I was able to catch a taxi although they are expensive for this island. Walking helped though and being on the beach was amazing! Hut could’ve been cleaner including the bathroom. Definitely need an upgrade. I’d 1000% stay here again. Loved it!

Staff was really helpful! Huts are well made and very comfortable! Diner was good as well as the fact that they have a bar.

The sea at the accomodation was not really usable when we went there (august), not sure how it is with a different tide in a different season. Certainly not something that the accomodation could change but maybe useful to known for other potential visitors.
